About Me
Got a movie recommendation? Send me a comment about it I'll add it to my Netflix queue. Did you recommend a movie after September 11th, 2007? It will be awhile before I can get around to it. My Netflix Queue is currently full of 500 movies! Around 20-25 of these slots will be opened due to watching some of the movies online and removing them from my Queue. Keep recommending and I'll get around to it. If Netflix and me think I'll really like the movie I'll push it to the top of my queue. Get ready for my new audio podcast coming soon with movie reviews and more.

Surf's Up Surf's Up PG 4.0 Stars
Great animated film, the style of the "mockumentary" was well suited for the script. The visuals on the penguins did seem cartoony are points, but the graphics used for the landscapes were really well done (making the water look really, making a clip or photo look older, etc.).
Bridge to Terabithia Bridge to Terabithia PG 4.0 Stars
This is actually a pretty decent film. Very well written and had good visuals (for the little visuals used in the film). The ending seemed surprising (to someone who didn't read the book) because of the type of genre of the movie.
Iron Man Iron Man PG-13 5.0 Stars
"How's it going Heff?" probably one of my favorite quotes in the film and easily Stan Lee's best guest appearances in a Marvel film. The CGI in this film is truely some of the best CGI in a film to-date besides Speed Racer, which I have yet to see. Downey does an excellent job playing Tony Stark/Iron Man in this film. The actual robot/metallic-like voicing for the actual Iron Man character was very well done and suited the character completely. The storyline kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film. Other superhero movies to-date seem mediocre compared to Iron Man. The movie was written more as a the "intro" to Tony Stark rather than showing a lot of action sequences throughout the film. If you have the time to run our to the theaters for a matinee be sure to see Iron Man while you're out.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer PG 3.5 Stars
Pretty good storyline for a sequel to "The Fantastic Four" (2005), great too see the return of Dr. Doom along as the introduction to The Silver Surfer into the film. One of the worst aspects of the film had to have been the visual graphics, the effects for the silver surfer or the effects on the storm near the end were effects that have been used since the late 80s-early 90s. Some of the effects were newer, but still failed to fit in with the mixture of effects used in the film.
Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle R 5.0 Stars
The best comedy I have seen in a long time. Since the 90s it has been rare to find a few "stoner comedies" which make obvious drug references and sexual references, but keeping it humorous and great to watch.
Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (Harold & Kumar 2) Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (Harold & Kumar 2) R 4.0 Stars
I found this film just as funny and humorous as the first "Harold and Kumar" film (Harold and Kumor Go to White Castle). Great comedic style, very well acted, and a great script. Can't wait for the next one.

This is one of the most well written, well directed films I have ever seen. This movie is so underappreciated for the magnificence of this film! Only 221 people including myself at the time of this review saw this film out of the entire Flixster community.

Incredibly well written it's the kind of film that a lot of people had no desire to see, but has to be one of the best films ever written. Truely an amazing cult classic!

Jesse "JesKid" Cowell is an amazing director and actor. An independent film that really doesn't disappoint.
