The Darwin Awards
This is one of the most well written, well directed films I have ever seen. This movie is so underappreciated for the magnificence of this film! Only 221 people including myself at the time of this review saw this film out of the entire Flixster community.

The Transformers - The Movie (1986,  PG)
The Transformers - The Movie
This movie was definately a mark on its time along with the series. It deserves it's place in one of the best animated films of its time.
8
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
Well this week I went to the local movie theatre to go see TRANSFORMERS I'm a pretty good fan of the original series so I was hoping to expect some good stuff. The movie was great how my Movie Tuesdays work is I try to watch one movie that week either at the show or one that's on dvd and then review it for Tuesday. This means I either watch the movie that day, the weekend before, or the Monday before. Anyway I try to review each aspect of the movie without giving any spoilers. Then I give my final judgement weather you should tell the movie "Got the pitch" or "Hit the ditch". Tried to think of something that rhymed. Alright let's start off.
GRAPHICS
Transformers doesn't disappoint in this aspect at all. I'd have to say it's the best graphics I've seen in a movie yet. The CGI was amazing. The detail and transformations of the characters where great. Everything was shiny. Only problem with the graphics is that they totally changed Ironhide and Bumblebee.
Storyline
What is kind of unexpected is they only followed same fanbased aspecs of Generation One. What I mean is that they didn't make it so fanbased of a movie that only fans of the original series could understand the movie. There was little to no mention of cybertron or energon cubes. Completely new story around transformers, but not like the original series.
Voice Acting
The movie did really good with voice acting. They even got Peter Cullen to do the voice of Optimus Prime which original transformers fans will know. Other than that I did not like that the voices of some other characters were completely different. The least they could of did was get a freaken impersonator to do the voices. The new voices just seemed lame and boring.
Characters
NO! NO! (and for the last time) NO! Optimus Prime does NOT look good with flames on him. What were you thinking? Flames do not make Prime look more badass. If that's not bad enough Bumblebee's a fucken sports car! A camaro to be exact and don't say "But Adam it's a cool sportcar..." don't give me that crap Bumblebee was meant to be the fricken beatle he was in the original show. Also they seemed to have forgotten to put some lead characters in. No soundwave, shockwave, rumble, bulldozer... next you'll tell me that Ironhide is a GMC SUV/Truck oh that's right that's because he is. Huge disappointment with how they updated the characters if you're going for a kickass film please leave the already kickass characters the same. That's right I'm talking to you hollywood fucktards!
Directing
You mean there were people in the movie to direct? With all the fast fight scenes and badass graphics it was hard to notice anything resembling flesh on the big screen. Although when they were on they appeared for too damn long I want to see more Autobot and Decepticon carnage.
Review Points
+Optimus Prime is pretty unchanged
-Prime does not look good with flames
-Looks like Megatron got hit with an ugly bat
+Great use of CGI
+Funny Jokes
+Lots of quotes from Generation one
-Missing characters
+Michael Bay directed it
+Spielburg coproduced something lately that isn't shit
-Too much human shots needs more carnage
-Megatron didn't transform into that so called "world's strongest weapon"
Review Roundup
Overall the movie still gets my high mark and is officially my favorite movie. It deserves a 5/5 and that's what it gets. Those aren't pity points either. Of course there will still be those few downers who complain about it as much as or more than me but hate it. Either way it's still a box office blowout so far it's raked in $70.5 million according to Fandango.com. That's it for this week's Movie Tuesday hope everyone enjoys the review. More to come next week.

The Mummy (1999,  PG-13)

The Weather Man
I'm rather shocked to have forgotten to review this film. Well written and worth watching kind of a hidden gem for Cage.
51
The Stoned Age (1994,  R)
The Stoned Age
It's one of those goofy comedies that really made the 90s the movie age. Although most viewers would rather watch other films if you're a normal teenage viewer who thinks that making a movie out of stoner's is funny than this is for you.
52
Little Shop of Horrors (1986,  PG-13)
Little Shop of Horrors
It's one of those semi-cult classics where only a select number of people will truely appreciate this film for what it is. Yes, it is a musical-romantic-comedy, but it does a funny look at these categories with a strange storyline.
53
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978,  PG)
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
I'm a huge "The Beatles" fan so naturely I liked this film. A lot of people say it ruined a lot of Beatles songs, but yet again this was coming from someone in a review who couldn't even spell Beatles right. Aerosmith kind of butchered their one song they covered. Maxwell's Silver Hammer cover was also pretty bad the rest was actually a pretty good turn on beatles songs.
54
Patch Adams (1998,  PG-13)
Patch Adams
A truely emotional and brilliantly written masterpiece. One of the best inspired true stories I have ever seen.
55
Mr. Woodcock (2007,  PG-13)
Mr. Woodcock
Great film if you enjoyed other films like "School of Schoundrels", "Bad Santa", or "Accepted" you'll really enjoy "Mr. Woodcock". Funny film although Amy Poehler is listed high in the credits she only appears for about 15 minutes of the film. A lot like the other slapstick comedy that Billy Bob Thorton has done recently in his career.
56
The Wedding Singer (1997,  PG-13)
The Wedding Singer
How they dressed up the scenes to make it look like 1985 was great. Wonderful acting from Adam Sandler, and Drew Barrymore. Very delightful film.
57
Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988,  PG)
Tucker: The Man and His Dream
Great true story I thought this movie adaptation was good besides that Tucker's "team" raced the "Tucker" after the court case and not before. Currently 47/51 Tucker's produced still are existing today one of which is owned by George Lucas.
58
Gandhi (1982,  PG)
Gandhi
Saw this a year ago in World Cultures and loved it very well acted and a great following of Gandhi's life.
59
Bicentennial Man (1999,  PG)
Bicentennial Man
Much like other Robin Williams films "Bicentennial Man" is compelling and an emotional masterpiece. This film deserves a high grade and is well underlooked.
60
Office Space (1999,  R)
Office Space
Great cult film, very funny and worth any cult lovers time. Milton and his red stapler...loads of laughs in this great comedy!
