Beautifully imaginative and amazingly unique, Gilliam has one of the most creative minds in film making. Ledgers performance was enchanting and the trio (Depp, Farrell and Law) who become him in the imaginarium gave performances so strong I truly believed they were the same character with a different face. Lily Cole gives a stunning performance as Valentina despite her very limited experience and surely has a promising career ahead of her. Lets not forget Christopher Plummer who held the film together with his eclectic performance as Doctor Parnassus. For a film that suffered so much bad luck, it was worth all the effort of Gilliam and others getting The Imaginarium back on its feet.
Definitely watchable and entertaining and I have to admit Megan Fox is easy on the eyes. But it just felt like something was missing. The dialogue wanted to be witty but failed most of the time and the horror wasn't horrific enough. But still a fun watch if nothing else.
Beautifully shot, acted, and with amazing costuming. The Duchess is clearly another example that Keira Knightly was born to do period dramas. The storyline is what really held the film together and kept me glued to the screen, it's just a shame that it was so heartbreaking.
Interesting Japanese ghost story that seems to wane at times. The setting was stunning and the costuming really gave the feel of ancient Japan but it just didn't seem to have the impact one might expect.
