La chiusura della trilogia delle madri (trilogia creata a posteriori più che risultato di un progetto organico) avviene in una fase in cui Argento non riesce ad essere geniale come un tempo. Eppure è il suo film più riuscito degli ultimi tempi, con una buona tensione e qualche sprazzo di grande regia. Troppi i momenti ridicoli (l'apocalisse a Roma, le streghe) ma in fin dei conti il film si fa apprezzare. |
