I enjoy life, living comes so naturally to me; its a precious gift like boobs..or rockets. I also love cinematic adventures! Remember, if you ever get attacked by a gorilla there is no point in fighting; sit back, relax, and enjoy the once in a life time feeling of having both arms pulled off. Also, what are you going to do when a shark decides to make you its next happy meal? Do you wait for a wise and old sea dog, a marine biologist, and a cop to blow it up with compressed gas? NO! survivors fight their own battles plus not many of us know Richard Dreyfuss. Just punch it in the nose and avoid putting any of your favorite limbs in its mouth. When I was 3 years old my Aunt sat me down in front of the television and we watched George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead. And ever since then I've convinced myself that a Zombie outbreak is and WILL happen someday. So what are you going to do...when a shit full of dead people comes in and starts eaten up the town? You will probably curl up into a tiny ball and think about pancakes until its all over. So while your getting guzzled down like man sushi, I'll be prepared!

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer
R
By some stroke of luck I actually got to watch this film directed by Jon Knautz who hasnt done much really. The film isnt even 90 minutes and almost nothing happens in the first hour....not looking good is it? Well let me tell you, the last 25 minutes of this movie is pure horror gold. There has not been a monster film like this in years, there was no stupid cgi, just pure oldschool costumes and makeup. One important note is Robert Englund's performance in this film, it's one of his best out of recent years because it is so quirky and so absolutely ridiculous. He is so fun to watch in this movie and does an amazing job. Okay... Back to the last 25 minutes, so much ridiculous shit goes down and it gets so hardcore that it will probably get you cheering and giggling... i know i did. Seriously sit through that first hour even if it seems like its going nowhere because waiting for the end is more than worth it. While watching this i got a huge vibe of some Evil Dead II / Army of Darkness moments because the creatures looked a lot like deadites and you have this normal guy... a freakin plumber kickin ass and taken names with random tools he has... very Ash like! Loved the movie, if you are a horror fan at all then you will appreciate Jack Brook's Monster Slayer and you will be glad to add it to your collection.
Burn After Reading

Coen brothers are back at it again with their crazy characters and witty dialog. The movie was absolutely amazing and brilliantly written. Now.. it was no Fargo or No Country for Old Men but its definitely one of their best. I absolutely loved the characters, you fall in love with every one of them... whether its from hating them or just loving their quirkiness. Even characters that are not even in the movie for very long stick out in your mind after seeing it. The film moves at a slow pace but you never get bored especially when Brad Pitts character shows up... he really is THAT guy in this movie, he's so great in here. The movie gives you a surprise in it that had me completely baffeled and stunned it was epic. All of the performances were very strong and fun to watch, Clooney is the shit (especially with a beard). And holy crap when they introduce you to what Clooney is building in his garage you will probably fall out of your chair... I almost did.
Definitely check this out it will probably be one of the best for the fall season. If you like the Coens then I shouldnt even be telling you to go see it. So go... leave now and see it please.

"The funniest thing to ever come out of you was me!"
Dane Cook is hilarious in this movie... anytime Dane really gets to be a complete douche bag aka himself hes great. I thought this movie was going to be below average just because it seemed like every other movie that has been coming out, and it was to say the least. I thought it was an interesting take on the love story approach, basically what they did was took the idea of Hitch and made it the complete opposite. The movie sucked anytime Dane Cook was not being a total douche, there is almost light at the tunnel when you see that Dane almost ruins the whole end of the movie for everyone which would have been AWESOME, but no... They go the mushy love route and ends all happy and gay. Im getting sick of this shit seriously. Also the big thing that I hated the most was the fact that Jason Biggs is in it... why the hell does anyone cast him as a character in any movie... his smile is filled with so much fruityness that it makes me sick everytime he cracks a smile. Also his acting is so shitty... I dont know if it's because im so used to seeing a cast full of shitty actors in the American Pie movies or what. I just hate that guy. Oh and one other thing, Alec Baldwin makes an appearance and its a great one. He made up for Jason's faggotry.
Overall the movie has some great one-liners again from Dane Cook being an ass bag and actually gets very funny. Other than that the movie isnt that great... and Jason Biggs ruins it like he does everything else. If Jason Biggs and Vin Diesel starred in a sequel to Zohan learning how to race cars with John Goodman it could ALMOST be as bad as a Tyler Perry movie.

There Will Be Blood
R
Speechless! Unfortunately i am not a good enough writer to express how magnificent this film was. There Will Be Blood is an epic about that most American trait, ambition. We see it in the determination of Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) to wrest a fortune out of California's bedrock. Daniel Day-Lewis' performance in this movie is just simply amazing; he is by far one of the greatest actors ive ever watched; i was completely amazed! The movie goes along at a comfortable pace with multiple conflicts throughout. The scenery in this film was fantastic. Paul Thomas Anderson does a beautiful job in directing this film; some of the shots and scenes he comes up with in his film are just completely perfect! The whole film from start to finish is just perfect, with an ending that will leave you with your mouth wide open. The ending was GREAT! If you can; you absolutely haaave to see this film. Get too it!

No Country for Old Men
R
Best film all year! In my opinion No Country is by far the best film to come out this year....Even with Sweeny Todd and all those just around the corner my bets are still on No Country. No other movie so far has even came close to what this film did. Ive never seen a movie that tells its story in such a way! And ive never been so amazed at the end of a movie either. I loved how the ending took some thinking...ok A LOT of thinking. Once you can figure out the true ending of this film it makes the movie 10x better. The Coen brothers are amazing..if your a fan of them then this will not dissapoint you at all. I saw this movie a few weeks ago and im still thinking about it....This film has such an affect on you at the end that you think about it for days! How great is that!? This movie isnt for everyone...but if you can get the chance to see it i would suggest you get out there!

Night of the Living Dead

This was probably one of the first horror movies i watched as a little kid, the black and white made it that much scarier, George A. Romero is a genius...

Bubba Ho-Tep
by RobinWhat if Elvis Presley never died but instead traded lives with an impersonator ? Stuck in a rest home where no-one believes his true identity, an elderly Elvis (Bruce Campbell) lays, contemplating his regrets in regards to his old lifestyle, family and what the hell the weird growth is on the end of his pecker that requires a nurse lubing it!!! When scarab beetles start attacking residents, zimmer-frame wielding Elvis and his friend, a black J.F.Kennedy (according to him he never died, they 'dyed' him black to conceal him from enemies!) they must team up and stop an even greater threat - a soul-sucking Egyptian mummy roaming the retirement home at night! Only the legend that is Bruce Campbell could get away with a random film like this. It's still great fun to watch and has some great lines in it delivered by the man himself, You gotta be intrigued by the concept - where else you going to find an elderly King of Rock 'n' Roll battle the King of the Dead?
Great, if not random, concept with some great one-liners delivered by the legend that is Bruce Campbell. For fans and movie fns who want something a little different from other films.
