It's a little 'bloody' but the plot was brilliant. This movie doesn't mess up what others usually do - mixing up the two main characters. Each characters developed fine. There are too much actions - some of them are longer than necessary, but I thought this is supposed to be a guy movie (except for the fact that Leonardo DiCaprio is there), so I was expecting that. Leonardo DiCaprio did a good job - though his boyish feature didn't help his Danny Archer to be a tough guy.

I was skeptical about this movie at first- as everyone had been doubting about "a Disneyland ride being turned into a movie." Apparently, this movie is brilliant. The opening is so catchy, the cast is attractive (I mean come on, you have Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in one movie), plus the Jack Sparrow character is so classic that it stays with you after you walked out the theater. The ending - I won't give that out - was a surprise. Thus I like it a lot. It could be a kids movie, no doubt, but I think adults can enjoy it too.
