A bit of a mixed bag, this film was funny (mostly down to Diablo Cody's writting), quite creepy in places and, more importantly, not so cheesy that it was un-watchable.
Unfortunately there was just...something...missing from it. I'm really not sure what, but the film lacked an aspect that would have made it a lot better. It doesn't hurt to have Amanda Seyfried in a film either.

An excellent film; McAvoy is very good as always, but this is an exceptional performance from Forest Whitaker. Well worth watching.

It takes a lot for a film to get into my top 10, let alone any higher. The Matrix has found its way into my top 5 of all time. It's just that good. Despite all the modern technologies, the guns, the computers- this film has a basis in a milenia-old philosophy propsed by Plato (Plato's Analogy of the Cave). It also contains one of my favourite characters EVER- Agent Smith, played unbelievably well by Hugo Weaving. It truly is an awesome film that I will enjoy watching over and over again.

I cannot say more than, from the actors/plot/music this is one of the best films ever made. It's simply awesome- because it's so much more than guns and swearing. From a linguistic point of view, the script is simply stunning- it's unbelievably well written. A fantastic film each and every time I watch it.
