The Weight of Water

Lightweight! Too many plot twists, left me looking around for something to do. The intense scenes on the boat were good. Sean Penn is usually much better. Elizabeth Hurley is really good. Definitely will not watch again. Did not care for the soundtrack at all, there were times when the music just did not go with the action.

Cloverfield

Cloverfield, name derived from the street location office of Bad Robot productions. Monster with devilish attributes goes on a rampage of terror in Manhattan. Boy realizes love he has for a girl he has been friends with his entire life. He must go back to save her! His friends will not let him go alone. Thus the story goes... Watch the last scene very carefully, it has a spoiler in it. I will go see again, you should too...

Rambo (Rambo IV)

Violent, gory.contrived, but hey it is RAMBO!!!! What else do you want from this movie? The scenes were like a mixture of war movie and video kills. Rambo is not afraid to get the job done. This action movie is over so quickly! I love John Rambo! (even at 60)

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

I really enjoyed this movie. Slow in the beginning, almost nodded off. The cast is superb, and the story believable. Best of all a friend that works the box-office let me in free. So what is not to like! hehe

Irma La Douce

The very first movie I ever saw at a drive-in. My parents thought I would fall asleep by the time it started. NOT!!! It was so funny. Jack Lemmon portrayed a policeman who fell in love with a prostitute. In order to keep her off the streets, he pretended to be a customer. Very fond memories. What was your first drive-in movie?

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Excellent! Alvin, Simon and Theodore were so adorable. Everything was even better than before. The music was very good. The story was sweet and I want to see it again. My favorite line from the movie is. " My tail does not get bushy until 9" Definitely go see this, even if you do not have kids to take. Just laugh and enjoy, I did!!!
