There is good chemistry between Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock and there are some good laughs in the movie, but there are also a lot of cliches, but after all, aren't they are expected?

Based on one of the most important novels by an English author. The movie is interesting and even when it shortens aspects from the novel it can stand on its own. Good adaptation and fine performances, specially by William Hurt.

My all time Favorite! Beautiful, bloody and romantic.
