Dawn of the Dead
by DeanA brilliant modern day zombie film. Not seen the original yet, but this has the same appeal as 28 days later. A great cast, modern take on the genre with good gory effects. Well worth checking out.

The Time Traveler's Wife
by ArianetaThis film was just plain disappointing, really boring, without any notion of what type of film it wants to be. Also it wasn?t funny or charming, moving or romantic. Bana and McAdams did share a pleasant chemistry; they made you feel the pain and the ultimate acceptance of their dilemma but never conveyed the magic that allows the couple to persevere through such a grand but trying love. It wants desperately to engage our hearts, but for long stretches will leave most of us scratching our heads trying to answering lot of questions? I wished it had been finished in about an hour and a half sooner. I can't remember when I've had such a hard time becoming emotion ally involved in a love story on film.

Michael Jackson's This Is It
by Se7enthDon t miss this one, shows a rare glimpse into MJ rehearsal diary. The incredible voice and the talent, his moves and oh could that man move!!! and his songs are phenomenal. It was funny to see his back up dancers so giddily in awe of him when he performed Billie Jean. He IS the King of Pop.

Michael Jackson's This Is It
by ChristySo many memories of when I was younger and enjoyed dancing to and watching MJ's videos. I was so impressed with his energy and his voice is as amazing as it was 20 years ago. He danced and moved as he did all those years ago. This would have been the most incredible concert tour since I can't even say. He is still the King of Pop and always will be. I cried also duriing some of his older songs. Will miss him and listen to his CD's all the time. He should still be with us. RIP MJ.

Michael Jackson's This Is It
by RobinMy eyes were glued to the screen almost the entire time! It was great to see MJ performing again...amazing talent in every fiber of his being. The show he was preparing for would have been phenomenal to say the least...very sad thinking he is not with us any longer. Surprisingly I got very teary eyed when he sang "I'll Be There"...I grew up with Michael and watching him sing the oldies once again made me realize the sad end of this pop icon's life. This movie was awesome.

I recommend you see...A dark comedy that is visually impressive and imaginative where the acting is good, and the various weirdos in the apartments are very convincing.

I recommend you see..."Das Leben der Anderen" is another powerful German movie, showing the repressing and corrupted system supported by fear in East Germany in times of Cold War. This movie is practically perfect: the screenplay and story are engaging, disclosing a triangle of love that causes a political surveillance of an innocent man based on several characters that are perfectly developed. The pace is neither slow nor fast but very adequate, and uses an awesome cinematography. The performances are top-notch and the ending is one of the most powerful ones that I have ever seen.
Another great German movie!

I recommend you see..."La Vie en Rose" is a hauntingly tragic representation of Edith Piaf's hauntingly tragic life. This masterful biopic succeeds in telling her story in a touching way.
The Best Actress Oscar winner was much deserving. Marion Cotillard delivers a staggeringly forceful performance as Edith Piaf. The rest of the cast were perfect. The setting and atmosphere are so authentic, the music so beautiful. The direction, cinematography and music make the film over all brilliant.
"La Vie in Rose" a biography of a woman whose life was not that rose kind of.
