OMG. Thank you Terry Gilliam for your excellent creation. Thanks to Hunter S. Thompson, Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro for making this a trip each and every time I watch this. Fantastic!! I love this film so much. Johnny Depp spent time with Hunter and it shows on the screen. The film captures the 1970s and Hunter's personality quite well. It also delves into the drug fueled brain and visuals that Thompson's book described. Usually when I read the book and then see the film, the film disappoints. Not this one. I give credit to all who made this film for its rich details. There are lots of cameos including a brief one of Hunter himself. Benicio Del Toro was also excellent as Hunter's attorney, Gonzo. He put on some weight for this and did some a great job in acting really high on a smorgasboard of drugs. Every time I see this, I notice something I have seen before. It was fun but it also had some insight into the "American Dream." I miss you Hunter. The world was a better place when you were alive. However, I believe the man couldn't stand what the world had become and I don't blame him for it.

Another classic stoner flick, this one has a certain place in time for the director, Richard Linklater. I heard this film is an ode to his school days (or daze as the case may be). I love all these actors. I really enjoyed Rory Cochrane. I freaked when I learned he was wearing a wig for the entire film. There are even actors that I adore who, I believe, made only this film. Others we have seen their careers skyrocket!! Love Matthew, Mila, Jason and the director for capturing a late '70s ambiance. Love the music and the herb.

Loved the music as much as I loved the story and the actors. Cameron Crowe is one of my all time favorite writer/directors because he always incorporates great music into his stories. Wish I lived his life sometimes. Especially his rockin' younger days.

Loved the music discussions between the characters. Cusak and his "staff" had classic top 5 lists. Jack Black was brilliant also. Catherine Zeta was quite sexy in this one. Loved her torn blue jeans.

The D. What can I say, it was awesome. I love the duo and their songs. Go see this if you love rock. Dio kicks ass too.

Another crazy tale that could only be as twisted as reality can be. I wish they would have shot more scenes during the events that the Club Kids had put on. Love the "Money, Success, Fame, Glamour" scene!! Much praise to this perfect cast. If you watch the documentary that this film is based on, you will notice that it is practically word for word with the actual Club Kids. Marilyn Manson is exceptionally warped in this one. Just like "Alpha Dog," another senseless crime by some seriously tweeked out humans. Good film though.

I was a 'clerk' when this came out. I died laughing. Always love when Randall goes off on the lame customers. I haven't stopped adoring this cast since this hit the theatres.

One of animator Ralph Bakshi's many brilliant films. As usual, I loved the tunes in this one. The story starts in the days of ragtime music and goes all the way through the era of punk rock. Very cool.

Very profound message about frustrated kids forced to live in a new community while being ignored by all the adults.

I have to applaud director Mel Gibson for taking on such an incredible topic. He has made a picture that uses the ancient language and captures the essence of an entire civilization that is shrouded in mystery. The cast was amazing from the eldest to the youngest. The main character, Jaguar Paw, was played by Rudy Youngblood who was superb. The story shows Jaguar's family and their connectiions to the jungle. When their peaceful existence is disrupted by a neighboring kingdom the male survivors are captured and taken to a Mayan temple for sacrifice to appease the Gods. The visuals are amazing. The plot is basic survival but with a whole new twist on the run for salvatiion for oneself and a family. Very engaging with an ending about destiny that is both historical and prophetic. I am Jaguar Paw!!!

OMG!!! This movie still makes me laugh like it was my first time watching it. This is my favorite movie from these guys but I haven't seen Beerfest yet. I loved how the "troopers" partied and did pranks on each other. You should watch it right 'meow."

I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen. Lloyd Dobler is the man who knows who he loves and knows what he doesn't want to do with his life. You can also see the spark that is Jeremy Piven in this one. A classic.

These two actors were fantastic in this. A new classic stoner flick. I still haven't found White Castle but I'm looking. Can't wait for the sequel.

Cohen is a brilliant individual. Anyone who loves hip-hop, ganja and comedy is a friend of mine. I didn't think he could make a movie out of the Borat skits but this was incredibly put together. Borat has a very bigga balls. Very nice.

Another classic from the world's first stoner comedy duo. They add Paul "Pee Wee" Rubens to the mix and it gets even funnier. El Roacho!!

Some of the best performances by the best comedians of its day. Caddyshack has hilarious moment with Chevy, Bill and Rodney but Ted Knight is a friggin' scene stealer in this one. He's damn funny.

Such a weird and wonderful movie. Bud and Ruth were awesome. I love the tricked out Jaguar/hearse. The adding of the Cat Stevens soundtrack was brilliant.

Watched this one so many times. The writing was incredible but the performances made this a great film. Oh, the location was great too. Such positive thoughts from a man in prison. Very poetic.

What a wildly weird movie. You start going in one direction and then the whole story switches to a kick-ass vampire flick. Q & T at it again. Go boys. Thank you Salma. I love you.

Loved the concept and the craziness of these two great actors together. Love Owen's funny mellowness and Vaughn's wild energy. Together they are hilarious. Oh, the women of this film are gorgeous. Meee--OW. Never met a wedding crasher even though I have been DJing weddings for over a decade.

I adore this film. It vividly shows the differing trials that teens go through during this important time of high school. It's both comedy and drama written by Cameron Crowe who would later find even more success as a director. I think his story (based on actual research in a high school) was carefully directed well by Amy Heckerling. It also serves as a period piece in that it showcased music from the early 1980s, the clothing, the fads and the employment that was available to young people at the time. Sean Penn did an incredilbe job as the school stoner. Every actor in this performed incredibly well. Many of the actors can still be seen as this was a springboard for this fresh (at the time) faces. You can even see Nicolas Cage (before he changed his stage name) but you have to look carefully or you will miss him. Covering dating, jobs, social scenes and, of course, school and virginity, this is a heart-felt homage to American teens. I will continue to watch it whenever I can.

I thought this was crazy funny. Critics didn't seem to get that it was made by Nickolodeon so it wasn't as wild as School of Rock or Tenacious D. I laughed my ass off at Nacho's partner and the other weird wrestlers. Funny stuff. Where's my corn on the cob?

A difficult case to make into a film but I think Fincher did his best. The writer from the SF Chronicle tried to put together all the weird twists to this unsolved mystery. Robert Downey Jr. was fantastic and Mark Ruffalo did a fantastic acting job. They crew recreated the time and the city of San Francisco magnificiently. Worth a look.

Probably my most favorite film with the Rock. I always enjoy Christopher Walken and Sean William Scott. They were both hilarious in this one. Great action and beautiful footage of South America. Where's my Gato?

I liked this one most because it introduced me to Jason Lee (now I love "My Name is Earl"). I thought he made this film even funnier.
