Superman Returns was flat out awesome and left me wanting to fly around and save the world as well. As a huge Superman fan, I was skeptical at first and wasn't sure what to expect. I was not disappointed however, and I thought the performances were great sans Bosworth (she was fair). Reading the Superman comics, he has internal struggles that are not seen in the other Superman movies or cartoons, and this movie touched on those. This movie supposedly follows the first two Superman movies with Reeves so if you hadn't seen those two, some parts may confuse you a tad. I didn't like the fact that Superman had a son though, and it still does not make sense to me even after watching Superman II (Donner or Lester), but it didn't bother me too much and I treated it like the Elseworlds comics. It was worth paying the money to see it in I-Max though, as the visuals were great.
