| (500) Days of Summer - PG-13 | If you want to see a Romantic Comedy that doesn't suck, then 500 Days of Summer is for you.Joseph Gordon-Levitt shows that he's one of the best young actors around, here.....not in G.I Joe. While Zooey Deschanel (Almost Famous, Elf) is adorable as always as the girl that Levitt instantly sees as the one. Levitt is really good in comedies and at playing underdog heroes like in Brick and the Lookout....which is why he needs to stop playing villains in movies like G.I Joe and Kill Shot. | December 26, 2009 | N/A | |||

| All About Steve - PG-13 |
All About Steve is a stalker comedy....not a romantic comedy about a lonely workaholic named Marie (Sandra Bullock) that gets hung-up on the first guy that she ever agreed to get set up with. His name is Steve (Bradley Cooper) and he doesn't share the same feelings. In fact he thinks she's insane. Steve is the cameraman for a ego maniac reporter (Thomas Haden Church). So when Steve's job takes him on the road he makes the mistake of telling Marie that it's too bad she couldn't come. When Marie's schedule suddenly becomes clear, she decides to pursue Steve. That's all you really need to know since through-out the movie all Marie does is follow Steve everywhere he goes. But also due to the Thomas Haden Church character telling her that Steve really does want her around even if he says he doesn't. I liked the cast and I actually thought both Bullock and Church were good, especially Bullock. The way she runs while in those big red boots is actually funny. I also thought that some of the reporting scenes are pretty funny since things never really go as Haden Church would like them to. Still, the movie is a road to no where. It contains no romance and only has a small amount of charm due to Bullock. While at least Cooper wasn't hurt by the movie due to the popularity of the Hangover outshining how much anyone hated this movie. |

| When in Rome - PG-13 | I'll probably see it but it looks really cliche. I mean how fresh is it to have a romantic comedy where a clumsy girl and boy fall in love. On top of it random men fall for the Kristen Bell character....just because she took their coins out of a fountain in Rome. So yeah, I predict one star from many critics. It's too bad because a movie with Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Josh Duhamel (Win a Date with Tad Hamiltion) had potential. | December 24, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Zombieland - R | This was a fun movie, not as fun as Shaun of the Dead but almost as fun. The cast worked great together and the cameo by Bill Murray is ingenious. It is very violent and gross like you'd expect from a zombie movie but it also has a touching story about friendship, love and trust. | December 24, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Extract - R |
Jason Batman stars as the owner of a flower-extract plant who considers cheating on his wife (Kristen Wiig) when a new hot temp (Mila Kunis shows up. She's secretly a con-artist though that just wants information about an employee that was recently injured. So she can seduce him into suing the company and then marry him for the money. Bateman's character thinks he has a shot with Kunis though and his stoned bar-tender friend (Ben Affleck) convinces him to hire a guy to have sex with his wife so he won't feel guilty about cheating. Dustin Milligan is hilarious as the clueless guy who's hired to get with Bateman's wife. Alleck is very funny and has some really good lines. But I think, Milligan was even funnier. Jason Bateman is good as always but if it makes sense, I think he's better in supporting roles in movies than he is as a lead. He's not bad here but it's mostly the supporting actors that are memorable. |
