What if writing novelties of say...Proust or Xingjian were to be translated as a neon mural of experimental musical compositions...add some Oedipal symbols, disjointed time-frames,oh..and vertical motives of multi-sexuality!
There you have it,a "blow-up" of docu-confession,Matsumoto's personal ode to youth, highlighting an era of wine and roses (or if you like: opium and proses)

A masculine movie in spite of the exceptional twist somewhere in the middle,Koutras is evolving, leaving behind aliens and bourgeois salons, there's simply a bohemian state of free-spirited individuals (with a fine sense of rhythm in the frame by frame observance of the social status) alongside the neglect for but also the casualty of "strange" people.
Orfanou playing the titular transsexual sparkles in her debut and Kokiasmenos presents a stiffed ex-inmate,beginning a chain reaction stretching to a (curiously enough) panegyric finale.

Amazing film.I believe I should stop reviewing here because the visual poetry of Corneau is captivating and the gregarious silence is the ideal depiction of the behavior, the conception of music as art.A supreme representation of the era and Guillaume Depardieu in a depressing role make this another modern masterpiece.

Startling, exuberant drama by a cerebral filmmaker. The cinematography works perfectly in order to describe the futile struggles of a person, hypothetically a diminishing figure of his own self-fragmentation.Confused?It's probably a testament on the future of European post-WWII environment,para-psychology is surrounding the picture and a truly innovative film is born from Zulawski's "possession".
