Lady in the Water
PG-13
I was recently bought Lady in the Water as I wished to see it again after I saw it at cinema - and I have to say that I loved it at cinema, but I love it even more now! I cannot stop watching it! M. Night Shyamalan has created what I think is his best work in Lady in the Water. Based on a bedtime story that Night used to tell his daughters, Lady in the Water revolves around a variety of people living in a small apratment block, who's lives ar echanged forever when the mysterious lady named Story is discovered in the swimming pool. It is one of the most magical films I have ever seen which touches my heart every time I see it.
Star Trek - First Contact
PG-13
Star Trek: First Contact is the 8th Trek film and the 2nd to star the Next Generation crew. The Borg, one of the Federations deadliest enemies, send a ship to assimilate earth in the past, by stopping Earths first ever warp ship from launching. The Enterprise attempt to stop them but may be out of their league as Data is captured and Picard faces a foe from his past - the Borg Queen! By many Trek fans, 'First Contact' is considered to be the best film of the series and I could very well agree! The cast are outstanding - especially Patrick Stewert as Picard. Alice Krige is superb as the evil yet sexy Borg Queen whilst Alfre Woodard is billiant as Lilly. The film is truely scary in parts and the action scenes have to be seen - especially the space fight on the hull of the Enterprise! 'First Contact' is a great sci-fi film that would be loved by both fans of Trek and newcommers to the franchise! Masterpeice!
