ok horror movie.. nice to see Daryl Hannah in it..a bit thrilling with a little twist..the ending could have been better, but all together it's worth a look..
Taken
PG-13
this is a good movie..not something I would pick out by myself so I'm glad somebody made me..
thrilling, scary, dramatic and a lot of sweet action for those who like that :) interesting story and great acting, Liam Neeson i awesome!
I highly recommend this.
Righteous Kill

well, it's awesome to see Al Pacino and Robert De Niro act towards each other again..if I'm not misstaken, they have only done that once before in the great movie Heat from 1995. so with those guys in the main roles, this movie turned out pretty cool. I don't think it's some kind of masterpiece but it was an entertaining thriller with two bad ass actors..I really think it's something you all should see.
The Strangers
R
this is a good horror movie..scary and a bit realistic..it's simply made but in a great way and it sure gave me the creeps..the first hour were scariest, no doubt about that, but the ending were pretty good too..
I have learned that a lot of horror-fans, and others too, didn't like this at all, I think it's because people have to high expectations, I had none and I saw it all alone in the dark and I really enjoyed it and it sure scared me a bit too..
The Breakfast Club
R
I actually hadn't seen this before. I've heard about it sure, but I never took the time to see it for some stupid reason. but then I bought it and watched it and now I love it..
it's an awesome teenage/highschool comedy from the 80's, and you can see it over and over again, it's one of those films that makes you feel damn good..if your into funny older films with troubled teens, especially if it's the 80's, then this is the movie for you..it's a classic and should be seen and appreciated :)
Don't Go to Sleep

this is a cool horror film from the early 80's, and most of those are always awesome in a way, they have something special that movies today don't and can't have..
I can't say that this scared me, but I really enjoyed watching it. this is a movie that should be seen by all horror-fans out there.

The Godfather
by †HorrorFan†this was a really good movie i liked it but the second one was really good but i liked the frist one more and i saw the third one and it was not that good they should had stop after 2 because it was good and so was the frist one but the third one was not even good it sucked only the 1st one and the 2nd one were good but if you have not seen it this is what its about The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family and then Vito Corleone is the aging don (head) of the Corleone Mafia Family. His youngest son Michael has returned from WWII just in time to see the wedding of Connie Corleone (Michael's sister) to Carlo Rizzi. All of Michael's family is involved with the Mafia, but Michael just wants to live a normal life. Drug dealer Virgil Sollozzo is looking for Mafia Families to offer him protection in exchange for a profit of the drug money. He approaches Don Corleone about it, but, much against the advice of the Don's lawyer Tom Hagen, the Don is morally against the use of drugs, and turns down the offer. This does not please Sollozzo, who has the Don shot down by some of his hit men. The Don barely survives, which leads his son Michael to begin a violent mob war against Sollozzo and tears the Corleone family apart

Michael: You have to answer for Santino, Carlo. You fingered Sonny for the Barzini people.
Carlo Rizzi: Mike, you got it all wrong.
Michael: Ah, that little farce you played with my sister. You think that would fool a Corleone?
Carlo Rizzi: Mike, I'm innocent. I swear on the kids.
Michael: Sit down.
Carlo Rizzi: Please don't do this to me, Mike. Please don't.
Michael: Barzini is dead. So is Phillip Tattallgia. Moe Green. Slacci. Cuneo. Today I settled all family business so don't tell me that you're innocent. Admit what you did.
[Carlo starts sobbing]
Michael: Get him a drink. Don't be afraid, Carlo. Come on, you think I'd make my sister a widow? I'm Godfather to your son.
[Carlo get handed a drink]
Michael: Go ahead. Drink. Drink. No, you're out of the family business, that's your punishment. You're finished. I'm putting you on a plane to Vegas. Tom?
[Tom hands Michael an airplane ticket]
Michael: I want you to stay there, you understand?
[Carlo nods]
Michael: Only don't tell me that you're innocent. Because it insults my intelligence and it makes me very angry. Now, who approached you first? Barzini or Tattalgia?
Carlo Rizzi: It was Barzini.
Michael: Good. There's a car outside that will take you to the airport. I'll call your wife and tell her what flight you're on.
Carlo Rizzi: Listen, Mike...
Michael: Go on. Get out of my sight.Hey, you should really see this!

Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in)
by Dr BloodAlthough "Let the Right One In" may be overlong for those with small brains and no ability to enjoy anything other than the trend of grainy, low-budget, shakycam nasties which we have been subjected to over the past few years, for me it was very nearly perfect. In fact I wish that it was even longer as it is yet another film that you get so caught up in that you really don't want it to end.
Everyone mentions the "beautiful cinematography" but the sad thing is that this is just how films used to be shot and should still be shot to get audiences back into the movie theaters again. There are no bits that are too dark to see and nothing which will leave you with a splitting headache. It's just how a movie ought to be.
The plot is a simple one, not overly original but not too derivative either considering it is really just another vampire story. There is an independent movie by Jay Reel called "Dawn" (available from Tempe) which is pretty much the same thing but I doubt that anyone will have seen it so the best analogy is to say that "Let the Right One In" is like a children's version of "The Hunger" mixed with the kids' scenes from "Near Dark" and "Interview with the Vampire". It also pays a fair bit of homage to a few scenes from "Innocent Blood" as well.
There isn't a lot of humour in this, in spite of some bad CGI cats in a scene straight out of "Sleepwalkers" but it isn't overly scary either. Gore effects are realistic and minimal so think drama rather than horror and you'll be on the right lines. It's a hard film to fit into any genre really as it does tend to straddle quite a few non-horror themes most of which it deals with very effectively.
As far as the acting goes, since this is a Swedish film, it's hard to tell if the performances are anything other than just ok. I've heard from Swedish friends that some of the dialogue is a bit weak, verging on humorous, but, in translation (and with subtitles), this doesn't seem to matter to any English speaking audience. From what I could tell, the boy who played Oskar was a bit expressionless but seemed to have good chemistry with the girl who played Eli.
This is, without doubt, the best vampire film that I've seen for years and is one of my top films from this year alone. Apart from "Teeth" all this year's horror movies have been awful so this was a pleasant surprise at the end of the year.
I recommend "Let the Right One In" to everyone who likes good movies not just good horror movies. There's something here for everyone.Watch this as soon as you can. It's great. Ignore the "R" rating as it doesn't deserve it though.
