I could tell you about how great of a movie it is, but there are no words. I guess thats why the first and second rules are "You do not talk about fight club."
Suicide Kings 2. Suicide Kings R 5.0 Stars
Yeah I know I like this movie way tooo much. Maybe it's because I love all the actors in it. Maybe it's because Dennis Leary as a gangster should have happened more. Maybe it's because it made me laugh hard. Maybe it's because the ending doesn't stop twisting. Maybe it's because of the great plot that is so crazy it just might work. Or maybe.... Just maybe, it's because I am in love with and want to get married to Christofer Walkin? Any way I love this movie. It's now my number 2. Watch it so you can tell me I am wrong.
The Truman Show 3. The Truman Show PG 5.0 Stars
THOUGHT OF WORDS!!! Hands down my fav. Jim Carrey movie and with out a doubt one of the most creative movies ever made. It's funny and sad and dramatic(!) and just stunning. There are so many times that you just wanna shout out "Truman! It's a show!" but then you realize it's a TV. There is subtle humor through out. Hidden in all the dialougue which was very well written. The set design was great. Everything was just very fun to watch. The cameras are fun to look for..... I AM TIRED I AM sorry if this sounds like tarded drible!
Sin City 5. Sin City R 5.0 Stars
This is (apart from LOTR)my favorite movie. I mean this had everything. Humor, for anyone thats seen this, the arrow part in Dwight's story is great! Theres 3&1/2 great stories here.(Hartnetts is too short to be considered 1) The visual style is hands down the best I've ever seen. I love that only a few things are actually given color and how the blood looks. I also really dig how each story has a "comic book" shot. The acting is superb, Bruce Willis, Clive Owen, Micky Rourke, Benicio Del Toro, Josh Hartnett are all crazy! But Elijah wood has to be my hands down favorite preformance in this flick. He is absolutely terrifying. This is one of Robert Rodriguez's masterpieces and just one of the many reasons he is my all time favorite director.
Once Upon a Time in Mexico 6. Once Upon a Time in Mexico R 5.0 Stars
The Mexico Trilogy is one of the greatest film sagas of our times. The stories are very intertwining, the characters are all very different and unique. Some people think that Once Upon A Time In Mexico wasn't very good, but in my opinion it is the best film of the series. Also Johnny Depp is brilliant as Agent Sands.

Should have been called 'I Know What Killed Lindsay Lohan's Career'. I actually had to make an effort to endure this steaming pile of bollocks. Not only is Lindsay Lohan shockingly bad, but the script comes out like a a half sedated sloth. No shocks, no laughs, no revelations, no surprises and absolutely no enjoyment (except for the stripping). I gotta ask... if this got made, how many great screenplays are out there that could have taken this budget and contributed to the world..... Just a thought.

    THE MOVIE OUTLINE

"Quantum of Solace' continues the high octane adventures of James Bond from 'Casino Royale'. Picking up literally hours after the previous film left off, after being betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Having captured Mr. White, and in pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and 'M' interrogate Mr. White who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper to steal Bond's casino winnings is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined. MY APPRAISAL

To begin with, I don't watch too many Bond franchises so don't expect me to compare QOS with the previous Bonds. I've heard loads of comments about how QOS sucks and let me put it this way: I'm no movie critic. I'm just a normal movie goer. According to someone who've only seen Casino Royale and Die Another Day, QOS is a pretty much an entertaining piece of cinema and also a nice time killer. And I disagree with all the thoughts that Alicia Keys and Jack White's Another Way To Die wasn't a suitable theme song, because it certainly is the coolest James Bond soundtrack, equally hot as Chris Cornell's You Know My Name.

Quantum of Solace may not be the ideal Bond movie compared to its former. I also heard that in QOS, Bond lost his originality and even worse, he becomes the clone of Jason Bourne. And I agree on this part. The story seems messed up and dry. QOS also didn't have a ferocious villain and allow me to be frank, Mathieu Amalric looks anything but intellectual.

Despite the fact that QOS sucked at some part, Olgra Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton did nice performances. I was at first surprised when I found out that Olga Kurylenko, the creepy girl I saw in Hitman and Paris Je T'aime is the new Bond Girl. But she damn showed a star quality in her.

Craig. Daniel Craig. Can't get enough of him. Craig has all the charm, charisma, confidence and looks that are needed to play Bond. I wanna see more of him. I have to admit that he probably is the number 1 reason I love QOS. I love his version of Bond better than Pierce Brosnan. I've heard someone say this sadistically on flixster : Daniel Craig works for a production company that don't deserve him. Maybe he was all the reason this 4 stars for. Without him, QOS is just AN ACTION WITH NO SOUL when revenge is a dish best served with a revolver and bullets.

    The Exorcist The Exorcist
    4.5 Stars by Craig
    Directed by: William Friedkin.
Starring: Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow, Linda Blair, Jason Miller.

<< "Mother, whats wrong with me?" >>

The film shows us three stories. One follows an actress, who is at the top of her game. She has to temporarily move to Washington D.C with her 12 year old daughter Regan to film a new movie. Although her husband and she have divorced, she still manages, after a days worth of shooting, to come home and have a very healthy and strong relationship with her daughter. Before long, Regan's innocent personality and behavior start to change dramatically. The second shows a priest/psychiatrist, one who is slowly starting to doubt his faith in god and at the same time, having to deal with his mother's terminal illness. And the 3rd follows an elderly priest, one who appears to be long retired and is slowly withering away when he is summoned upon to fight this threat that he might have just battled before.

Many that know me should know this by now...I truly respect and love horror, but I am always saddened by the fact that it's a misjudged genre. Filmmakers of this time think that to make a horror film, you treat the audience like there stupid with a similar stupidity. Lack of character to the point of insulting our intelligence, all so the script can create situations that rely on cheap, talentless "jump scares" and "loud noises" to try and scare an audience...along with a lack of vision and skill. There are many ways a horror film can work; the three main elements should be considered...atmosphere, tension and overall, genuine scares...but also a greater understanding of character and exactly what sort of point you are trying to get across, enough to truly scare an audience deeply...The Exorcist is one of those rare classics that has it all.

The Exorcist, even after 30 or so years, still stands the test of time and is still classed as "The Greatest Horror Movie Ever Made", and I have to completely agree with them and feel pity for those who are blinded of its true greatness. The fact that people can't seem to see the film for what it truly is and always refer to the fact that it has been parodied many times over the decades. Of course, these people are in the minority thankfully. The great thing is that it still manages to shock after all these years. With a lot of older horror films, they tend to lose there momentum and that "spark" that made them so great when they were released, usually because of a decline in quality, the enhancements of CGI and the like nowadays and sometimes, the fact that a more modern film has done better...this still is no case with The Exorcist, which is the reason it will remain powerful.

I'll start with the visual aspects of the film. William Friedkin's direction is something to cherish and is highly underrated. He understands the material so well, managing to push the characters presence as the driving force underneath the slick production values and amazing atmosphere, while balancing all those with the shock value moments to bring out the most intensity available. The cinematography is pure brilliance. Having now worked more in that area through film school, I can really sit down with this film and drool over the moody lighting, the amazingly shot moments where simple pools of light, dark shades and frames covered in such an amazing hues, it really is a dazzling achievement and another driving force for the movies quality.

The screenplay remains one of the best in its genre without any doubt. Intertwining three different stories, three different backgrounds isn't the easiest of tasks, but Blatty has done so with such skill and understanding, where every character is given its due and none are ever left in the dust, each given fully fledged stories and backgrounds. The combined stories make up the darkest of dramas and that is really what it is, underneath the shock values. Sympathy is still kept at arms length when most characters do become victims to help the films frightening moments, but each character is shown as something stronger. The mother is the more powerful of the bunch, a truly caring woman who even with a failed divorce and a big career as an actress that drains her, she still manages to find the time to come home and be with her daughter...and that relationship in the film is fully realized and a real gem. The daughter is the hardest to watch, obviously. An innocent and creative girl with such love and kindness for everything and everyone around her, ultimately pulled into this abyss. Even amongst the layers of evil put through you, you can still see a small girl pushing to get out. The young priest who is losing his faith and struggles to care for his aging mother and the elderly priest, withered beyond repair, a man who still adventures, is put up against a familiar power for the last time.

The performances are brilliantly fitted and really push these characters forward. Ellen Burstyn has always played the estranged figure put through traumas, watching her inhabit the character here with such a deep understanding for motherly love and what can be seen as the deepest of traumatic experiences, she blew me away. Max von Sydow is always a force onscreen and he carries such a presence and warmth as this character, that when the time comes, we as the audience feel his power. Linda Blair...is simply remarkable. It's a performance that will stay with everyone for many more years to come. Its quite sad to know that it wasn't easy for her to grow up after such a performance, but what she had to go through, from what can be seen as a lot of physical assertion, a lot of makeup and dialogue and ideas that should be shielded from someone so young, she truly pushes through and delivers something you would see in the most seasoned actors, a hallmark performance indeed.

The Exorcist stands up to its title of "The Scariest Movie of All Time", even to this day. A film that still stands the test of time and will for many years to come, A film of such visual excellence and intensity, a film that truly scares underneath all the shock values with its powerful storytelling and its full characters, matched with outstanding acting by all.

    A masterpiece of cinema.

    92/100

<< "There is one outside chance for a cure. I think of it as shock treatment - as I said, it's a very outside chance... Have you ever heard of exorcism? Well, it's a stylized ritual in which the rabbi or the priest try to drive out the so-called invading spirit. It's been pretty much discarded these days except by the Catholics who keep it in the closet as a sort of an embarrassment, but it has worked. In fact, although not for the reasons they think, of course. It's purely a force of suggestion. The victim's belief in possession is what helped cause it, so in that same way, a belief in the power of exorcism can make it disappear." >>

A film I just had to rereview, a film I am surprised to see by a minority as nothing special...and those who haven't seen it...what can I say to you that is nice?

Everything seems to be going well for Wade Porter (Stephen Dorff). His construction business is taking off, he's about to be married, and life seems stable. Then, someone breaks into his house. Wade pursues the intruder out of his home and hits him with a bat, killing him instantly. Unable to get together bail money and assigned a court-appointed attorney, Wade sits in county lockup waiting for pre-trial motions. After a few months, the district attorney offers Wade a deal: plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and do three years in prison with all his time in county jail going towards the sentence. While on the bus being transported to the prison, he's witness to a killing by famous inmate Danny Samson. Wade has the murder weapon placed on him. Now, he's in a tough predicament: if he rats on Samson he's as good as dead, but if he doesn't, he'll get locked up in the Security Housing Unit (SHU), a place for violent offenders ruled by sadistic guard Jackson (Harold Perrineau). Wade opts to keep silent and is eventually placed in the SHU, where his new roommate is notorious mass-murderer John Smith (Val Kilmer). Wade now has to fight to stay alive and keep his family together against the intense pressures of prison life. Stephen Dorff is also wholly believable as Wade Porter. He's asked to turn from an average Joe into a brutal killer. Dorff gives a very convincing performance. Felon boasts an atmosphere of authenticity that proves instrumental in allowing one to easily overlook its sporadic flaws. Felon is a gritty, thoroughly compelling prison drama.

Highly enjoyable character driven drama with some genuinely touching moments. Most negative reviews seem to emphasise the lack of comedy, but going into this with no expectations seemed to make it work. Steve Carell proves he is not a one trick pony in a strangely moving role and the 'real life' drama plays out incredibly well. The support cast are fun (especially Binoche) and even the silly title becomes somewhat poetic by the finale. Well worth checking out.

    THE MOVIE OUTLINE

"Sin City" is four stories inter-weaved telling tales of corruption in Basin City. The first story (The Customer is always right) is short, and is based on the depression of women that they need to pay a man to feel loved when they commit suicide. The next story is Part 1 of "That Yellow Bastard" about a cop who needs to save a young girl from being raped. The third story (The Hard Goodbye) features a man taking revenge on a heartless killer who murdered his one-night stand. The fourth story (The Big, Fat Kill) stars a man who must dispatch a cop's body, but it will be a tough ride to do it. Following that are two conclusions to Sin City, the ending of "That Yellow Bastard" which is set 8 years later, and a short story that ends Sin City. "

    Sin City

    MY APPRAISAL

If it wasn't Sin City, I would've fallen asleep, because I was damn drowsy that night. But on the other hand, I was driven by curiosity so I forced my sleepy head and shove in the DVD. But, all of a sudden my sleepiness vanished into thin air, I totally forgot how sleepy I was and I was so into the movie.

    MASTERCLASS PICTURE OF THE YEAR!

In adapting Frank Miller's best-seller comic book series "Sin City", Robert Rodriguez knows well how it best served : cold and harm. Come in two daring flavours, sinners and whores. Allow me to welcome you to the shady life in a town called the city of sinners. Some call it a place to kill, a place to redeem nasty lust, yet a place where they all seeking for revenge.

Rodriguez delivers "Sin City" in 3 extraordinary bloodcurdling stories which will leave us beg for the sequels for good. They are "The Hard Goodbye", "The Yellow Bastard", and "The Big Fat Kill". The high contrast black and white image is absolutely stunning and make the film even more distinctive. Colours occasionally appear when someone's throat got cut off and one time when the yellow jackass shows up and bleed his horrible yellow blood. Totally "yeesh".

I fell in love with Clive Owen who starred as Dwight McCarthy. He's wicked fierce and he knows exactly how to do it flawlessly on screen. The naration he brought up is excellent. Jessica Alba is also a fairly exact cast for Nancy Callahan, a 19 years old whore with her innocent face but also drooling over man. What I truly disappointed in is Alexis Bledel. She's pretty, she has the qualified appearance as a prostitute. But Bledel's acting is way cheesy. She's badly outshined yet drawned by the Devon Aoki and Rosario Dawson. She tended to be a real annoying and promiscuous! I even hate her more when she turns out being the rat. What an unforgettable scene that is when Gail bite her neck like a wild animal. I was like 'way to go, whore, rip the little bitc* to death!'

It was my first thought that Sin City is a movie with the 'spot the star' syndrome just like many other. I mean, this refers to some up and coming names in Hollywood moreover to few established stars. One is on the comeback trail. Sin City bind us to the point where we're no longer watching actors with names, but the characters they are playing. For example, when we see Elijah Wood, we're not thinking of Frodo Baggins. And Bruce Willis isn't John McClane. More than anything else, that's a testimony to how excellent Rodriguez does his job.

Just plain FUN!!! The gore is fantastic, the cameos from horror icons is fun and the comedy (while a little overdone) is enjoyable! Horror cliche after horror cliche has never been so fun, since there is tounge in cheek all the way and it never takes itself too seriously at all! Unique and interesting death scenes are very inventive, even if the execution (no pun intened) is predictable. Just try to imagine every classic horror movie ever, being homaged with smirky comedy insteady of ridiculous spoof.
Worth tracking down, this horror/comedy has it all! Just take it as seriously as a Will Ferrell movie and you'll be fine.

It's the Christmas season for the Whitfields: a time for joy, family, and endless problems. For Ma'Dere (Loretta Devine), her relationship with Joe (Delroy Lindo) remains a secret shame she tries to keep away from her troubled son Quentin (Idris Elba); Lisa (Regina King) is dealing with a cheating spouse; Kelli (Sharon Leal) is looking for a man, hoping a one-night-stand will lead to love; Baby (Chris Brown), the youngest of the clan, has aspirations to be a singer; and Claude (Columbus Short) is a military officer on leave with secrets that will come back to haunt him. This Christmas is best when it settles into the family dynamic. The cast plays off each other extremely well, selling the history of the Whitfields without overcooking the sibling rivalry bitterness. This Christmas is blessed with copious amounts of charm and spirit, if not story. It's an experience defined by the strength of the cast, who rise above the derivative nature of the picture to fashion something if not entirely fresh, at least it's entertaining and uplifting where it counts. The result is a big, gushy, emotional, secret-driven, family-obsessive casserole, perhaps facile in some of its resolutions, but so full of good heart and love.

Ridley Scotts crime epic proves once again that he can make a clever, well made and shockingly factual film. The story is tight and interesting with some outstanding performances from the two leads. The final confrontation between the two easily rivals Pacino and DeNiro in 'Heat'. While it adds nothing to a well established genre, Scott's direction is hard to ignore and the fact that it's based on a true story really hits home during the final scene. A welcome addition to my DVD shelf.

David Owen (Tim Robbins) appears to lead a normal life: married, with one child and a well-paid job; he is, initially at least, quite unremarkable. But David leads a double life. Sick of the constant noise that engulfs New York City, David becomes "The Rectifier," breaking into any car whose alarm goes off, disabling the alarm and leaving a calling card under the hood. David's crusade draws opposition from the mayor and, as his campaign against noise escalates, causes tension in his marriage. Sharply written and funny. Everyone hates those damn things, so there's a certain amount of joy to be had in simply watching Robbins dish out old fashion vigilante justice on the cars of jerks with out of control noisemakers. But there's more to Noise than Robbins and a pair of wire-cutters. Writer/director Henry Bean attempts to subtly tackle the larger issue of humanity's tendency simply to put up with injustices through David's noise reduction mission. David's obsession is a fascinating one, with implications beyond the narrow world of noise he's focused on. Unfortunately the movie doesn't always stay focused on David and when it takes side trips into courtroom scenes or backroom political maneuvering among politicians it loses steam. Bean seems less sure of himself when he's dealing with the forces arrayed against his main character, and whenever Robbins isn't on screen Noise suffers.

    A STRAIGHT KNOCKOUT!

The best and most lavish action flick in this decade. The brand new Casino Royale sets also a brand new standard for espionage escapade that will be tough to top. I found Casino Royale the slickest action flick I've ever seen. Casino Royale impressively relaunches James Bond with tension-filled high stakes poker games and exhilarating action sequences.

Casino Royale Pictures, Images and Photos

There's one certain reason why Casino Royale is the greatest and hippest Bond flick in ages and his name is Daniel Craig. A daring way to represents Ian Fleming's legendary action hero. A brand new Bond package sure is a risky thing to do. More complicated and hard-hitting. Either it will cause career suicide or a highly praised modern James Bond era. And Craig has done a superb job. Not only amazed the viewers with all his action scenes, he put a soul in the movie. He's on the spotlight, he's adorable, he's sex on wheel, and he's without hesitation the BEST JAMES BOND EVER.

Best of all, it doesn't take itself too seriously (especially when the Brosnan takes centre stage). Loads of fun and coming from me that's a glowing recommendation!
Let me put it this way.... I hate ABBA music.
BUT, .... I really liked 'Mamma Mia!'.
Even the most hardened cynic may be won over by this.

    Transsiberian Transsiberian

Jessie: "Kill off all my demons, Roy, and my angels might die, too. "

The Transsiberian railroad of the title runs between Moscow on one end and Beijing and Vladivostok on the other. An American couple trying to patch up marital differences with a railroad trip across Russia, Roy (Woody Harrelson) and Jesse (Emily Mortimer) hope the travel will ease their communication predicament. On the train, they meet a younger couple, Carlos (Eduardo Noriega) and Abby (Kate Mara), and immediately try to play gracious tourists, befriending the newcomers, who are charming, but well-versed in illegal activities. When Grinko (Ben Kingsley), a Russian drug enforcement officer, boards the train, he sniffs trouble around Jesse, turning his attention to the skittish woman as he hunts for smugglers, leaving the couple at the mercy of the Russian police. This is only the beginning of a roller coaster of a thriller that combines Hitchcockian elements of The Lady Vanishes and Silver Streak with Hostel. Anderson had the smarts to set his thriller in such spectacularly and desolately beautiful surroundings as this, with the train rattling through snow-drenched pine forests that stretch like an ocean to the horizon. The occasional glimpses of civilization are just like specks in the vast land, making a mockery of any assumption of safety Roy and Jessie carry around with them as most Americans still do.

This fun addition to the torture porn genre certainly grabs your attention by ramping up the sadistic cruelty. Mostly predictable, but with some genuine surprises scattered throughout. The gorgeous Elisha Cuthbert does well in a fairly standard horror-type role and the writing is fairly good. Ultimately, the gore is the star of the show and there is plenty to go around. Good fun, especially if you don't want to use your brain for 80 minutes.
Brutal and innovative, if a little slow at times. Fans of 'torture porn' will have to admire the clever cruelty.

The Forbidden Kingdom The Forbidden Kingdom
    0.5 Stars by Danielle
The Forbidden Kingdom marks the first collaborative experience for Jackie Chan and Jet Li, two action-film marvels fans have been clamoring to see bounce off walls and pummel bad guys for decades now. Jason Tripitikas (Michael Angarano) is your average youth from Boston who's obsessed with kung fu movies. His main supplier is a shop in Chinatown. While looking around one day, he discovers a staff that's been in the shop three generations, waiting to be returned to its rightful owner. During an attempted robbery, Jason attempts to defend the store and its owner, but becomes transported to ancient China. There, he encounters the scholar-immortal Lu Yan (Jackie Chan). Lu Yan recognizes Jason's staff and tells him they must journey to return the staff to its rightful owner, the Monkey King. Only when the Monkey King is awakened can the cruel reign of the Jade Warlord end. Along the way Jason will receive help from a monk (Jet Li) and a girl called Golden Sparrow (Yifei Liu). Their big battle, in essence a standoff between grace (Chan) and gravitas (Li) is a sight to behold. But I thought it would never end. The movie looks flat, the CGI backdrops. Forbidden Kingdom would have been much more than a mere meeting of two kung fu kings. As it stands, we have to suffer through 90 minutes of mediocrity to get a half hour of fabulous flying fists. Some of it was worth the wait, but I found myself at times checking to see how much time until the movie was going to be over with. Both Li and Chan appear in top form, and their one-on-one contests are the picture's lone saving grace. That is, until a scene comes along that has Li urinating on Chan's face. Then you kind of forget the film has any merit whatsoever. Kingdom is a stiff, disturbingly ill-conceived fantasy film.
You should really not see this movie.

    THE MOVIE OUTLINE

"Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a DEA agent whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin out to avenge her sister's death. The duo will be hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation. "

    MY APPRAISAL

Max Payne is no doubt very disappointing and a failed Matrix (slash) Sin City (slash) Constantine wannabe. It's completely pathetic and I felt like running out of the theatre. It's not worth your dough nor your time. The movie is sloow like it'll never last and it's hugely boring. Mark, Mark. What's gotten into you? What happen to a hero we all worshiping in The Departed? We all know how The Happening sucked and simply one of 2008's worst movie. It's either he's unlucky in script selection or simply getting comfortable working in weird flicks.

Lack of chemistry between the characters and I didn't find myself root for them. A devastated man in late 30s, lost his family and drastically turn into a reckless jerk by killing people aroud him. We know how Max Payne is a jerk who can't deal with what he's been through. What do they expect us, condolences? So hell no, I don't root for the character.

And after 2 hours sitting and suffering on the theatre seat, this boring tale of Max *jackass* Payne will leave us nothing but ANOTHER TESTIMONY HOW GAME ADAPTATION FILM SUCK.

"The Devil is building his army. Max Payne is looking for something that God wants to stay hidden. That is what makes him more dangerous."

    THE MOVIE OUTLINE

"Olive Hoover, a seven year old girl, has one goal: to win a beauty pageant. Her heroin-addicted grandfather is her coach, and when she becomes a finalist in the Little Miss Sunshine pageant, her whole family takes on the road in an old run-down VW. The trip is anything but smooth; her father Richard is struggling to promote his self-help program, with no success, mother Sheryl is trying to simply keep her family happy and together, her brother Dwayne will not to speak until he joins the Air Force academy and, to quote himself, "hates everyone," and her uncle Frank must come with them after attempting suicide when he fell in love with one of his male graduate students. The first in a long run of disasters is the bus breaking down, causing them all to push it to get the trip started. There are MANY more things, however, which hinder Olive's Little Miss Sunshine career."

    MY APPRAISAL

    ORIGINAL & CLASSY FAMILY-ON-THE-ROAD COMEDY!

One of my favourite movies of all time. I never thought I'd like it this much. I thought the whole idea about family-on-the-road comedy is crap after I saw R.V. (which I hate). But Little Miss Sunshine proves me wrong! I think Little Miss Sunshine and Juno are similar in some way. And just as I know Juno's pretty cool, I never liked it. I prefer this one a lot more since it hit me very hard like a big yellow van.

Little Miss Sunshine deserves every credits it gets. The script is certainly flawless and supported by A list performances. It has many memorable moments and quotes. Not a single moment is wasted. I mean you know those movie who put us unescessary scenes. There's not a single scene is in this film without having a reason for being there. And sure huge credits to all the crew. Toni Collette stunning performance as a mother (again!), Greg Kinnear, and Steve Carell are equally great. Abigail Breslin is a star since she never let me down. I really like Paul Dano here and Dwayne Hoover is my favourite LMS character. The chemistry sparks between the characters and it has all the features to make one movie irresistable since it radiates charm and warmth.

JUICIEST 5 STAR ENTERTAINMENT OF THE YEAR.

Dwayne: "I wish I could just sleep until I was eighteen and skip all this crap-high school and everything-just skip it."

Frank: "Do you know who Marcel Proust is?"

Dwayne: "He's the guy you teach."

Frank: "Yeah. French writer. Total loser. Never had a real job. Unrequited love affairs. Gay. Spent 20 years writing a book almost no one reads. But he's also probably the greatest writer since Shakespeare. Anyway, he uh... he gets down to the end of his life, and he looks back and decides that all those years he suffered, Those were the best years of his life, 'cause they made him who he was. All those years he was happy? You know, total waste. Didn't learn a thing. So, if you sleep until you're 18... Ah, think of the suffering you're gonna miss. I mean high school? High school-those are your prime suffering years. You don't get better suffering than that."
