Really quite an average film this. I think its a Disney movie but Im not sure, either way its lacking a lot in humour, plot, charactesr or some of the many good things from films like Toy Story or The Incredibles which blew you away.

The graphics are stunning, as you might expect but for a kids movie the beginning wasnt really acceptable for my Alice at 2 and a half, it scared her witless. There were also a number of 'in jokes' for adults, one referring to a penis and another referring to something else adult in nature, again not really what you expect.

The story was totally by the numbers, there were no loveable characters and the attempt at making a likeable wall-e type robot didnt work. And what is it with the number 9 these days? District 9, 9, another district 9 here. There are other numbers you know!

Overall 2.5 stars was being nice. It wasnt very good.

Brüno (Bruno) R

Bruno is a very funny film, probably not in a good way but who cares? I laughed a goodly number of times, several of them were deep jaw aching laughs that despite myself I couldnt stop. It genuinely pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable, again probably not in a good way. I am curious to see what gays think of it.

The film itself is obviously a load of nonsense but it is funny and at the end of the day that is what counts right.

Its also a nice short length, something that I might award half a star for anyway.

What next for SCB? He's exchausted all his characters now he needs something new.
