Deception
R
11-16-08 --If your looking for a good thriller with many twists and turns then this is it. Hugh Jackman & Ewan MacGregor are awesome! Ewan did a really good job changing up his appearance not only in looks but the way he acted as well. Hugh played a great "bad" guy. Or is he a bad guy? Hmmm...
Monster House
PG
11-16-08 --Destined to be a Halloween classic... sort of. Maddie sat all the way through this one. I was suprised. Now, it is something when the director gets his wishlist of actors to actually be in the movie. This movie is filled with top actors and it makes the movie that much better. Even though the children was a little annoying especially "Chowder". Little bit. On the whole good animated flick for the family.
Be Kind Rewind
PG-13
11-09-08 -- Jack Black & Mos Def were pretty darn good together. Mos Def has already proven to me that he is a very good actor but I am always skeptical. Great idea for a movie. A movie about making your own movies. Brilliant! Reminds me of the time I filmed the first 10 minutes of Happy Gilmore with Lego's. I can see why the movies were only 20 minutes long!
Toy Story 2
G
11-09-08 --Same toys different day. Woody runs into a "toy collector" and finds out that he is a part of a "set". These other toys try to convince him that being in the musuem is better than being a children's toy that will eventually be stuck in a box forever. In the meantime Buzz and co. try to rescue Woody while finding out Buzz Lightyear's true Father! Good one.
Bridget Jones - The Edge of Reason
R
11-3-08 - I didn't like much about this movie. It's just the fact that they took the main character "over the top". Too much. I mean, she is REALLY stupid in this movie. She wasn't as clumsy and dumbfounded as she was in the first movie. Plus, her reasoning is completely off the wall and they base the whole movie off of these irrational ludacris actions that she takes because of her insecurities. The british accent and the extra weight didn't help either.
Bridget Jones's Diary
R
11-2-08 --A decent story about a woman trying to find a relationship that sustains and she can find her "happy ending". A bit foolish sometimes but trying. She finds the one and starts anew.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
PG-13
The best one of the six movies! Kinda sad though that this one wraps them all up. It does a great job bringing the prequels and the others together. It also brings much more mythology to the Star Wars Universe.
2.
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
PG
My favorite of all Six Episodes! Maybe I like the dark "good guys getting kicked" theme of the movie I don't know. Carbonite freezing, Luke's Father, & my tauntan will freeze before I reach the first marker.
3.
Iron Man (Ironman)
PG-13
10-04-08 --Absolutely Amazing! Probably the best Marvel Movie to date. They did it all the right way without any crazy notions of "Director's Vision" or marketing campaigns that would change the look and feel of the movie. Of course they updated some things and revised this and that but nothing too drastic. Jon Favreau stuck to the Comic Books as his Source material and that is why this movie will suceed. All the subtle hints were there. Tony's Alcoholism, Rhodey becoming War Machine, Love between him and Pepper, and even the overall theme of Tony Stark's idea that since he's doing it, it must be the right thing to do. I can't wait for 2 more. Oh and if you do see this movie you should stay past the credits. You'll see an extra scene with a Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson. Good Stuff!

Spider-Man 3
PG-13
Amazing, Spectacular & Sensational!!! This movie tops 1 & 2 and it ties up the two nicely. Having 3 villains in this movie did not make things "hard to follow". It was done with a fantastic flair! I thought having Gwen Stacey and her father Captain Stacey in this movie was a nice touch. For those that don't follow the comic books Gwen was Peter's 1st love and she was also the person that Green Goblin dangled from the New York Bridge and asked Spidey to make the "decisions that heroes have to make". That is when Gwen Died and Peter pursued MJ (the unattainable girl). In the movies they mixed the two characters into one (MJ) and now bam! there's Gwen Stacey in the mix causing Jealousy and everything. New Goblin wasn't as bad as I imagined. Sandman was done well. Venom was great. I thought they could have worked on a few things that I won't mention due to spoiling the movie. I could have done without the constant "showing of the faces" they did. But that's hollywood and you have to deal with it. In all, I loved this movie and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so that I can watch it all the time.

Superman
PG
Can you believe a man could fly? That was there slogan before it came out in '78. They blew away audiences. Christopher Reeves became a legend and Superman became a recognizable icon in American Pop culture once again. Richard Donner was a spectacular Director and had a great vision of the man of tomorrow. We can only hope Bryan Singer carries on his vision with more Superman Movies.

Spider-Man 2
PG-13
Attention Directors! If you would like to know the formula for making a great Comic Book Interpretation for the average movie goe'r, please see Sam Raimi. I didn't know that it could get better after the first Spider-Man flick... but it did! Dock Ock! C'mon!
