My name is Jon and obviously Y love movies or having a flixter account would be kind of pointless. I try not to discriminate when it comes to movies even though there may be one or two that I will not watch but I am willing to give almost anything a try. My favorite genre is either drama or comedy and my least favorite would probably be action. I know that isn't the typical guy answer but I just find them to be boring and really unlikly. Special effects don't always make the movie.
Lets see. I am very opinionated and speak my mind and sometimes I come off as an asshole but when you get to know me better it turns out I'm not such a bad guy after all. Also I tend to be on the shy side when first meeting people. I have to warm up to people and listen to them to understand what I can and can't say becuase I try not to offend people even though nnow it's almost inevitable since people get offended over pretty much everything...maybe even that statement who knows. |

So the movie kept my interest the ony problem was with the end. It just kind of ended and I really hate that. It felt like thre should have been a lot more. But worth watching for sure.

I watched this at work a few weeks ago and really liked it. The story is one you have to pay attention to really understand what is happening but it still holds up to a certain degree i think. Too bad when i watched it again with some friends for movie night it seemed really lame. I remembered it being much more violent and gory during certain seens too. Regaurdless though I still really enjoyed it.

I was surprised when i first watched this at how awesome it was. I mean it has a lot of things about it that are considered flaws in todays films the biggest probably being that it's in black and white. But It really stands to time. Plus Bette Davis is my favorite actress and she delivers an amazing preformance...she should have one the oscar for that too bad they shunned her but that seems to be how the Academy works I've found.

The Secret Life of Bees

by .:SexiVixxENPretty Good,I am not going to BS around with this one at all.I like the "old style" movies these 2 were in.They just put them in a current nowadays gangbangy situation and uhhh I didnt do much for me.It didn't even get my Holy Crap action meter up to half way.Sorry I know alot will disagree with me.Just my opinion,Just slow and sot of predictable and again didn't get my Azz Kicker scale hardly kick started =(

The Women

I have no earthly idea why this is getting squashed by the critics,Grrr don't listen to them.The fact is maybe I was sucked in by this a little more than the average person because I AM one of these women,going through the very same exact thing she was.So this one really hit home.It's perfect,make you laugh,make you cry,make you want to jump for joy.I really liked it.Totally recommended!

Eagle Eye

Shia is shown in a more mature role than Transformers,I really like him as an actor,I think he can really go far as long as he stays on the straight and narrow.Anyway this movie is intense!! Billy Bob Thornton was awesome as well.Definitely recommending this one for the action fans!! =)

The Family That Preys
by .:SexiVixxENExcellent film!,I am so glad one of my best buddies changed my mind on this one.It was great to see Kathy Bates again too.Tyler Perry movies are becoming a fast favorite of mine,Like the one a couple weeks ago,Why did I get married,if you still haven't seen that you have too.This one is just as good just in a different way.But along the same lines in that these movies are made to be so close to real life situations and such they are awesome.Check it out! =)

Out of the Blue (Aramoana)
by .:SexiVixxENI am giving this 4 stars and being kind about it.This movie was good,but it is so incredibly slow at times you will want to fall asleep.The only reason I hung in there was because it was a true story.Some beautiful scenery of New Zealand,But otherwise seriously this guy just got up and went nuts because the local back started charging fees for checks??Seriously??
