My second favorite Clint Eastwood movie, full of memorable characters, a unique story, filmed magnificently and treats it's characters as real people, not caricatures of western sterio types, one scene in particular where Josey is talking to the Indian Comanchee Chief near the end of the movie is classic, for it's lines come straight out of the Bible, yet sound so natural and moving that you would swear they were written for this movie. See this if you haven't you will not be disappointed!

A story of survivors of a plane crash of a Boy's School Choir left alone on a deserted Island, with no surviving adults, and there degeneration into savages and murders, breaking into warring factions, with those trying to keep civilized being overwhelmed by evil, a movie to leave you stunned and thoughtful.
Filmed in a spare style making you feel as a witness to this degeneration, with a cast of kids that were picked out of a call-up, a savage and unflinching look at society in whole when also put in severely traumatic situations, a masterpiece.

There is a never and I think better English Production of this Play from the mid-ninties with suerior acting and singing, but it's not listed on Flixter, so I picked this to fill in. If you don't know this story, and have never heard the music you must see this movie!

My all time favorite comedy, classic site gags, a comedy of manners about England in Edwardian times, with an all star cast that have the time of their lives making this movie a total gas. I don't know how they said some of the lines they did straight faced. If you like to laugh, and you like to really dig into a movie to catch all of the jokes, this is the movie for you. I'm so glad it is finally listed here now.
