Harry Potter 6 is by far the best of the series, and we learn more of Voldemort's past and who the Half Blood Prince is. The scenes and magic and special effect as usual are utterly beyond words. Beautiful, mesmerizing and exciting.
I was excited to see this remake of the beloved Star Trek series, and wasn't disappointed. I loved it and the gorgeous scenes of incredible special effects! Too cool! Couldn't have choosen a better cast to play the beloved Star Trek characters. I love Spock as usual, Zachery did an excellent job portraying him and it was even more beautiful when they put Leonard Nimoy in the film who is the original older Spock. This film rocks!
Lots of excitement to be had in the sequel to Night at the Museum. It's filled with lots of chases as Larry rushes around trying to save his friends from being permantly still as they are moved to Smithsonian's storage without the magic block that has kept them alive nights. Some characters are left at the museum and wait for Larry to make things alright again.
I love this third Ice Age 3-D cartoon, it is totally sweet and funny throughout until the end. Brings tears of laughter to my eyes. Lots of love in this toon! Gotta have for one's collection of Disney films.
Terminator Salvation is the 4th film of the series and the weakest. It seems more like a Prequel and Conclusion at the same time, almost an entirely different story. It's weak but kept me interested. John Conner is an adult in the film at war with Skynet that creates terminators and holds his supposedly dead father (is in his teens or early twenties) captive.
I found Drag Me to Hell to be an intrestingly original and fun film. However as I watched it, I found the main character to be an idiot... Come on, who wants to be dragged off to hell over a problem of helping an old gypsy woman keep her house? All Christine had to do was approve a final loan for the old gypsy and this film is over. Amusingly enough she did not and was cursed because the gypsy woman begged her and was shamed for such drama in the bank. It's a rather short film for time seemed to fly watching it.
Angels & Demons is suppose to be before Da Vinci Code, storywise... This film is more tragic as the main character races against time to find clues to solve the mystery before each priest/abbot dies by the elements. A race to find the new energy source before secret society called Illuminati gets to it and destroys the world.
I love this film! It's quite a rollercoaster ride of action and emotions. It'll keep you laughing and crying throughout the movie. I utterly worship Optimus Prime and adore Bumblebee. Totally exciting and cool. Lots of new and familiar Autobots and Decepticons. Much mayhem and destruction! I had to buy this for my collection, two thumbs up! Mouth dropping Awesome!
Such an exciting and breathe taking film! I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing 3-D CGI of the transformers. It's too cool for words! I worship Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. I recommend this to all transformer and sci-fi fans. It's a new favorite that I'll be watching often, so glad I bought it.
I find this film with Will Ferrell to be his funniest and enjoyable one out of all his movies. It's amusing and nostalgic. Just gotta love that smart T-Rex with the brain of a huge ancient walnut compared to Will's puny little brain. (laugh)
It's so hilarious. Year one kept me laughing to the end and wincing through some nasty moments in this comedy. Especially when the dumb dude actually ate shit. EEEWWWW!
Surprisingly not a bad zombie flick and rare few have zombies in the fricking cold mountains. Let alone nazi zombies! Good to have something alittle different for a change.
Dark City is like a gothic nightmare where you're stuck not remembering much of anything and everything seems out of sorts. Thes weird fellas mess with peoples memories, steal them and entrap them in a dark city that seems to be void of sunlight and opens into space of nothingness. Only one man seems to retain his memories and searches for truth and to bring light back to this dark city. An interesting science fiction film to see.
Dororo meaning Little Monster... is quite an interesting film. A warrior sold his unborn's body parts to many demons for the chance to rule the world. The mother loves her son though he was born incomplete and had to give him up by putting him in a basket and push it onto the water. The baby found a wanderer who took it upon himself to help the child by creating body parts for hima nd raising it as his own. Teaching the child to fight and when he is grown, can defeat the demons that have his body parts and thus returning it to himself so he can be whole again. His sidekick he befrinded is a female thief with a agenda of her own... She wants revenge on the warrior who destroyed her village and killed her family, unknown to her that the warrior is her friend's biological father. The demons are rather beautiful and ghastly, the CG is very cool and realistic.
I love Wolverine and Gambit in the same film! They are so good at what they do and drop dead gorgeous. My only gripe about the film is that Gambit doesn't get much screen time. Although this is about Wolverine's past, how he became weapon X... It is nothing like the comic, this is more of an alternate storyline. Not gonna spoil it for anyone, worth owning for the x-men collection!
Death Note 3: L Change the World shows what L does with his remaining days. This answers any questions left by both films. Its humor is sweet and L tries standing up straight. (laugh) Poor L.
