The greatest of all action adventure films ever...pioneering in film technique, epic in scale, and intimate in detail. VASTLY superior to the shallow remake The Magnificent Seven. I've seen Seven Samurai at least 30 times, and the 3 1/2 hour length seems like it gets shorter with every viewing.
