this film deserves more than a one sentence review. but if I must:
the most socially aware animated film ever made, and the greatest story in an animated film i've ever seen.

I?ve just seen a movie about the importance of rock ?n? roll radio to British culture in the 1960?s. I?ve been thoroughly entertained for the last two hours. I?ve been exposed to obvious exaggerations and typical dry British humor. I heard songs I?ve heard before, utilized in more emotional moments than I have experienced them in myself. It wasn?t fantastic in that I came away with a new understanding of myself as a person, but I had a laugh or three and got my mind out of pissing down a drain for a couple hours.

the closest a director has ever come to completly and utterly depciting the way I feel about women. and he's French! so fitting! more than ever I have realized I am destined to this film and those like it, as it is purely brilliant in every way. the cinematography, the manner in which it was written, down to the costumes. the comedy. the sense of humour! everything. absolutely fantastic film.

The Swedish director Andersson really brings hell to earth in this dystopia themed movie that reminded me of 'The Weekend'.
