Just an incredible movie.Jack Nicholson has never been better and is matched by Louise Fletcher as the unforgettable Nurse Ratched.Great supporting cast including Danny Devito, Christopher Lloyd,and Will Sampson.Funny,heartbreaking and in the end inspiring.A perfect gem. |

Billy Bob Thorton plays a mentally retarded man who has just been released from a mental hospital and befriends a young boy in a small southern town.It shows how he tries to adapt to the outside world and his courageous sacrifice to save the boy and the boys mother.Thorton is incredible as the retarded man(he wrote and directed the film as well)The supporting cast is great Lucas Black as the young boy(has there ever been anyone who ever played young southern boys better than he has)Dwight Yoakam as the abusive boyfriend ,John Ritter,Robert Duvall and J.T. Walsh are all excellent.One of my all time favorite films. |

This much more than a children's movie.Its a delightful tale of a little pig ending up on a farm trying to fit in and becoming a champion sheep herder.The duck is hilarious as are the little mice.James Cromwell gives a great performance as the farmer in a role which has very few lines.Highly recommended. |

I recently viewed this movie for the second time and liked even better the second time.Fairuza Balk gives a knockout performance as the leader of the witches and is at times alluring while other times just very scary!!!HIGHLY RECOMENDED. |
