Drag Me to Hell Drag Me to Hell PG-13
I can honestly say that this was one of my favorite horror films this decade. It ranks up with the Evil Dead films, finally after all of these years Sam Raimi makes another horror movie.I love his style for one thing,Rami makes it seems as he is untentially being funny, however I know he is. I love all the cheese ball gags and you know what I loved the effects. That is a big improvement over the Evil Dead effects.Love it!
Some people have been complaining that the acting in this movie is God-awful! Come on people its not that bad,Alison Lohman was fine in this movie, you could argue that her performance was a bit over the top,but for me that was part of the movies charm. As for Justin Long, I think I love him in all of his roles. While I cant say this was my one of my favorites in this role, its nice to see him in a more dramatic role. The acting was fine maybe cheese to some, but I dont give a shit! I enjoyed it...
This movie is well worth your time, yet might just scare the Hell out of you. It didnt for me,but I have talked to alot of people that said that this was the scariest movies they have ever seen. Dont even rent this,go ahead and buy it!

I just flat out love this moVie! I think that I have seen it around 20 times! Yes its that good. Bale gives his best performance of his carrer as the 27 year old Patrick Bateman. He is such a dork, even if he tries to play it cool. Oh and he is so fucking greedy and doesnt give a shit about anyone, including his finnesse played by the beautiful Reese Witherspoon. His excuse is that he cant take the time off of work. There are sooo many classic one liners in this movie. Makes me laugh every time I watch it. I mean his lines are so chessy its halrious. " I have to return some video tapes" It seems that everything that he learns is from these video tapes that he rents. He goes on killing rampages and idolizes serrial killers as he references several in this movie. Although I found it hysterical that nobody seemed to get his jokes. Most of the time the chareacter seemed serious though and of course a bit of an ass, lol.
There are just way too many good scenes in this movie that its hard to pick a favorite or even a favorite qoute. But I can say that its my favorite movie of all time and gives me my favorite performance out of Bale. Without him the movie wouldnt have worked. Once Leo De Caprio was set to play the role but I'm sure glad he didnt. As good of an actor as he is I very much doubt that he could have pulled off the type of perfomance that Bale did thats for damn sure.

Patrick Bateman: There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

Patrick Bateman: I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.

Patrick Bateman: Do you know what Ed Gein said about women?
David Van Patten: The maitre 'd at Canal Bar?
Patrick Bateman: No, serial killer, Wisconsin, the '50s.
Craig McDermott: So what did he say?
Patrick Bateman: "When I see a pretty girl walking down the street, I think two things. One part wants me to take her out, talk to her, be real nice and sweet and treat her right."
David Van Patten: And what did the other part think?
Patrick Bateman: "What her head would look like on a stick... ?

Halloween Halloween R
Best horror movie ever! Evil never dies. Micheal Myers just keeps going and going. The classic tale of the Babysiter Murders, which was by the way the orginal title of the film but one of the producers wanted it changed beacuse interesting enough the word Halloween had never been used as a movie title before. I love this movie so much!. I have seen it countless amount of times. It has in my opinion one of the best death scenes ever! Of course I'm refering to the opening scene. Through the eyes of Micheal Myers, brillant! Dr. Sam Loomis: I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the *devil's* eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... *evil*. Laurie: It *was* the boogeyman. Dr. Sam Loomis: As a matter of fact, it was micheal myers Pictures, Images and Photos
