Danifesto G (koreandan)

It was a fun ride I must admit. And I heart John Cusak. I will say that there came a point where I wouldn't have been too sad to see everyone meet a VERY BAD END. Is the end of the human race so bad? Do I really need a happy Hollywood ending?

I'm being generous here. No surprises and it closely follows the book. Points there. Even with the cheesy dialogue, would it be too much to ask for characters to ACT? That being said, everyone looks amazing and the special effects were fun. My problem really is with the story. Could do without the whole Italy ending. It just feels stuck on.

This is one of my favourite flicks. I love many of the scenes. I also like the musical motif. Unlike other movies, I will see this one again and again.

I loved the book and really liked this movie. I'm really glad the director made the choices he did.
