The Dark Knight - PG-13 A phenomenal movie from practically every aspect with Heath Ledgers performance being most certainly Oscar-worthy and Christian Bale once again, outstanding. I believed in Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, but I did not believe in Maggie Gyllenhaal™ as Rachel Dawes; she unfortunately proved to be the weakest of the cast (a little reminiscent of Batman Begins, the change of actress didnt make much difference). Fantastic. July 29, 2008

Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior) - R Good concept carrying on the Mad Max saga with Mel Gibson's protagonist showing a better development in character. Even though it unfortunately uses an overplayed score, The Road Warrior plays out to be a relatively enjoyable film. July 22, 2008

WALL-E - G Cutest film ever! A movie that brings artificial intelligence to life in the most adorable way. Gotta love it. July 21, 2008

Garden State - R Zach Braff is an extremely talented actor and fantastic director. He is one person that I would like to just sit on a bench and have a decent conversation with! The film contains drama, comedy and Mr. Braff himself. What more can one ask?! July 11, 2008

Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem - Unrated This film can be viewed from two aspects: either a fantastic music video comprised from each song off of Daft Punk's Discovery album, or a beautiful anime film (although without speech)! I personally loved it from both points of view. July 3, 2008

American Psycho - R Christian Bale gives a superb surreal and disturbing performance in this film, overplayed in a manner that works along with the dark satirical tale. July 3, 2008

Hancock - PG-13 Good, but not enough depth to this film, I'm hoping the DVD will include lots of deleted scenes. July 2, 2008

Knocked Up - R Surprised me with how decent this film turned out to be. A not-so-shallow rom-com! Wasn't keen on the crude talk at several points throughout though. July 2, 2008

Shoot 'Em Up - R A reinvention of the action genre. This film was fresh, original and wild, filled with humour, both light and dark. A real intimacy with muzzle flash after muzzle flash, it almost became a dance. Bloody fantastic. June 22, 2008

Live Free or Die Hard - PG-13 Insanely awesomely spectacularly fantastic! Those explosions could have been seen from the planet Saturn! Mr. Willis has done it again! Woohoo! June 22, 2008

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - PG-13 Absolutely spectacular. One of the best novel adaptations I have seen. The direction was superb and not only that, it was courageous, the director didn't hesitate on keeping it in the same league as the prequels. The score too, new and more magical, it really followed the film. I was impressed! June 22, 2008
