Not entirely what I was expecting, but better than anticipated. A good bunch of laughs - nothing cerebral, just a comedic action romp, though definitely aimed at the male audience.

This film was nothing short of awesome! Although I dont think I would have enjoyed it quite as much if I had not read the graphic novel. From book to screen, this was a very faithful adaptation; well done Snyder! I really cannot wait to see the directors cut, and shall update this review accordingly.

Fantastic effects for a relatively small budget movie. With all the other superhero/comic-book movies out there, this shouldn't be classed as one of them. The only similarity is the idea of powers out of the ordinary - but this concept is explored at a higher level than usual, although unfortunately it is not shown at its full potential. Saying that, it was the ending of this movie that left me truly unsatisfied; definitely 'pushing' for a sequel.

Great. Again, Sam Raimi has brought the comic-book character applause. Unfortunately it will only be die hard fans who will understand that. Only comment I have to make is that there were too many bad guys. Oh, and Peter Parker with his emo look etc. very good, the comic-book humor strikes again!

A new and superb performance is revealed in this fantastic movie. Dark and gritty in both its direction and cinematography, with a tenacious plot and protagonist, the story shows the audience the great depths of the Neeson's acting potential. He should certainly taken on more roles like this. A must see!
