"Pandorum" starts with isolation, slowly but effectively builds with suspense and ends with jaw dropping surprises. Bower and Payton are two crew members of the ship Elysium. They wake up from an extended hyper sleep, not knowing where they are or what their mission is. As the story progresses a host of new characters are introduced and add in hordes of flesh eating, gollum like creatures and you have a recipe for an awesome Sci-fi movie. It is two hours of cringing, wide eyed wonder and nail biting suspense. An enigmatic piece of film making by writer/ director Christian Alvart. Add me to the fan list. I also love Ben Foster, another underrated actor who is engaging and intense. There is truth in every word he utters. Denise Quaid is wonderful and slips into the role easily. Although he doesn't have much action, his surprises are saved til the end. Antje Traue is an ass kicking eye candy and fantastic in her first leading role in a Hollywood feature. This film is easily one of my favorite Sci -Fi films after
'Pitch Black" and "Sunshine". As the film progresses we learn what happend to the crew and what their mission was. It all ends with quite a few surprises. I loved this movie and any Sci-Fi fan will not be disappointing.

"Paranormal activity" is one of the scariest movies since "The Blair Witch Project". Shot completely documentary style it slowly creeps into your Psyche and will haunt you for days. If you watch the trailer you'll get the basic premise of this film. Katie's boyfriend Micah decides to document strange occurrences that have been happening to Katie. It seems there is a Demon following her since her childhood and what they capture on camera is completely horrifying. Add in a scared Psychic, a burning Ouija board and very realistic performances from the two leads whose real life names are also Katie and Micah and you've got a recipe for "one of the scariest movies of all time". Like "Blair Witch" the genius of this film is marketing, it doesn't even have credits at the beginning or at the end, adding to the suspense. One thing that this film does that pushes it beyond any other film of its kind is they actually kinda show the evil presence that has been haunting Katie in one form or another. If you love scary movies this one tops them all. If nothing ever scares you get ready to be surprised. Either way this film is going to shake you up! Watch at your own discretion.(do not take your kids, pregnant ladies or people with heart conditions to this film) Enjoy!

One of the best films ever made. I love everything about this movie. I fell in love with acting and film making after watching this. i also started listening to film scores after being captivated by James Horner's score. It was my first CD I ever bought. It was artistically a life changing film for me.
