| Death to Smoochy - R | Another awesome performance by edward norton and robin williams. I was shocked to see robin williams.. so vulgar. haha. but what an awesome movie. very hilarious and sometimes strange (like the iceskating bits..) it almost seem like a satire but its more dark comedy. I really enjoyed it and its absolutely entertaining. What a FANTASTIC soundtrack. anything with such a good taste in music will not go wrong in my books. and how can u not love a film with a store that sells VINYL! :)
what can i say? such an introspective movie. constantly contemplating and analysing on relationships. John cusack was so good in this. the characters will slowly and constantly grow on you even if you dont like them at first. Even dick and jack black's character, barry. |

even though i havent read watchmen, I thought the movie was great. the film is visually STUNNING. and the politics in this film is awesome. I was most amazed by the opening sequence. I think the characters were all very likable in their own unique way even ozy. Its frustrating knowing that he lives in the end. If you are a fan of the "GORY" factor, you will love this too. The violence and bloodiness is fantastic.
The only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of five was that it was a little too long and there were sex scenes that was.. basically meaningless. but other than that, its an excellent film with an excellent soundtrack. watch it! |

WHAT IN THE WORLD? why is it that in slasher movies like these, there is always some skimpily dressed idiotic blond and "jock" kinda thing going on. the storyline itself shld deserve just two stars.. but the fact that the effects were in 3D and is pretty awesome in its gloriest gory ways deserves another star.
Just watch it once for the effects and 3D experience cos thats pretty much the cool part! |

i actually kinda enjoyed this film. not really a comedy not really a chick flic.. i dunno. a mix and match. though the middle did drag abit but the ending was sweet. The cast was awesome too esp justin long! its a good study on the boy-girl relationship.
watch this with your girlfriends or by yourself. It'll be fun. Just DONT go in with prior expectations on it being a rom com or a full fledge chick flick because its not. |
