The Time Traveler's Wife - PG-13 At first I wasn't interested to see this, until Becca posted something =) She loved it so much and even if I don't always agree with her, her reviews make sense. I watched it a couple of days of ago and watched it with a writer's opinion and not a critic's opinion. The story by Bruce Joel Rubin(screenplay-he wrote the Dempsey-Moore starrer GHOST too) and Audrey Niffenegger(novel), though a work of fiction, is believable and the movie casting is great. Since the time traveling was caused by stress, it was but natural that when Henry was "caught" he would disappear only a few moments after and when he was at peace, he would stay a bit longer. Parents who brought their kids along just explained the scenes unfathomable to them, but it's good that they were able to enjoy most of the movie. The moral assessment rating given by the CBCP is three (because of what Henry "had to do" to survive). They believe that Bana and McAdams don't have enough chemistry. I don't agree. They do. It's in the eye of the beholder, really...and everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. Yet, I like what they said about the love and fidelity of Clare and Henry and there, I agree with them. Bandslam - PG After reading Becca's review on THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE, I became so interested that I wanted to see it ASAP. Unfortunately, people had to wait for three whole hours if they wanted to see it and I was with my brother RJ. He was really adamant on watching a movie (How do I know that? He held my hand and lead me to the escalators...if you just look at him, he could seem uninterested, but there have been several instances that he actually wailed when I told him, "We've seen everything..." that he would only be pacified after I bought tickets) so we watched BANDSLAM.

It was a surprise that I loved the film. The story may not be new, but I love the script, the choice of characters, music, direction, and the acting. There was a "new attack" to the old twists and turns.

I really did not want to watch Bandslam because I thought it was too juvenile (but I watched Hannah Montana and the others like it...LOL), but I was pleased to find out that even adults could appreciate this film.

Kudos to the cast and crew!
