My favourite romantic comedy, and really my favourite movie. For me, it's just perfect- and Hugh Grant is adoribly, bumblingly wonderful. The mayonnaise/yogurt line is my favourite movie line ever.

A beautiful, simple, yet wondrously complex love story. I love everything about this movie- it's the most beautiful love story I've ever seen on screen.

One of those movies tht I will always worship and love no matter how terrible it really is. The ultimate 'pick-me-up' movie. And where would the world be without Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow?

beautifully heartbreaking and very well-acted. wonderful music too. make sure you have plenty of tissue boxes before watching.

i love this movie! it's well-written and well-acted, and a very good adaptation of one of my favourite books. it's gorgeous, touching, and heartbreaking, and has a lot of truth and depth.

kevin spacey is amazing, as is the rest of the cast in this wonderfully-written and directed movie. it's chilling and resonant, and very memorable.

now, this is how to make a movie out of a book. it's emotional, mature, and moving, with just enough special effects and comedy to keep things light and interesting. very true to the book as well. definitely, the best of the bunch.

absolutely hilarious from start to finish! the actors are all terrific, the story is totally inane (but then again, it's not really the point). monty python epitomizes the meaning of the word random, and does so in a spectacular fashion.

wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. the cast is excellent, the costumes and sets gorgeous, the direction is great- i love it! the story is so enchanting and well-woven it almost doesn't seem real.

a wonderful good time. the numbers are spectacular, the colours and costumes have never been so vivid, and the humour is right-on. absolutely charming. they just don't make them like this anymore.

very touching and funny, with characters and situations you can really relate to and feel for. a little predictable at times, but sweet too. nice romantic stuff too.
