  Facing the Giants

  This movie was pretty much what I was expecting, but it was so much more. Fair warning...there is a strong Christian message here. But it's not one of those "preachy" kind of religious propaganda movies. Obviously, Christians will be more inclined to like this movie, but non-Christians who watch with an open mind and an open heart should be able to appreciate a very inspirational story.
  
  Granted, the acting is a little wooden...but that's because they used real people instead of actors. In my opinion, that made the movie feel more real. The plot is fairly predictable, and some might even say a little cliche, but I found it impossible not to be swept up in the strong emotion of the movie.
  
  I would rank this movie right up there with movies like "Remember the Titans" and "We Are Marshal." The production values may not be quite up to the same level, but the message is every bit as powerful. I'd call it a definite must-see.
