You'd be surprised how true stories like these are in inner cities. I've watched it 2 days in a row. The acting was top notch. You'd never expect Mo'Nique to act so well. You'd never expect to take Lenny Kravitz and Mariah Carey so serious. And what can I say about the lead actress? She did an amazing job. I felt the pain of her character over the course of her very touching performance. There are many movies that follow the hard ship of the projects, but this one stands out among the best of the decade. Good stuff.

I'm just going to give an undescriptive ramble here since I cannot put this movie into words...

Mickey Rourke wow. Wow! Wow! Fucking wow! You are Randy "the Ram" Robinson, and you are amazing. This is easily one of best acting performances of the last 20 years as many others have stated. I fell in love with the character. IDK if I'm bias because I loved wrestling all my childhood or not. I didn't know it could get any better than Gran Torino, or Slumdog Millionaire. But it did! Congratulations Darren Aronofsky.

My #1 favorite movie EVAH, and I've seen over 1500 movies. So that speaks for itself. I can say no more. lol

Are you not entertained? The whole movie is memorable. The only thing that took away from it was it being fiction. I'd love this to of been a true story. My #2 favorite film.
