A Lot Like Love

A very funny love comedy about 2 people who keep staying in touch until they finally decide to be together. While flying from Los Angeles to New York, the "good boy" Oliver Martin (Ashton Kutcher) meets the "bad girl" Emily Friehl (Amanda Peet) and they have sex in the restroom. They stay together along the day in New York, when Oliver discloses the planning of his life - his future career, successful job and then raising a family. He gives the phone number of his mother to Emily and asks her to call seven years later to check. For seven years, they occasionally meet each other, and in the end, their relationship becomes love.
Pride and Glory

Pretty good movie but I was kinda hoping for more though, thus great acting by Edward Norton. A gritty and emotional portrait of the New York City Police Department, the film follows a multi-generational police family whose moral code is tested when one of two sons on the force investigates an incendiary case involving his older brother and brother-in-law. The case forces the family to choose between their loyalties to one another and their loyalties to the department.
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

This movie was hilarious so funny, I was laughing almost the whole movie, you gotta see it!! DreamWorks is back in franchise mode with Madagascar. The talent roster is ridiculous, and no doubt the animated cinematography will be nuts as those wacky New York Zoo animals are still stuck on a big, far away island.
The Da Vinci Code

It was interesting and inventive but not quite my taste at the end. The murder of a curator at the Louvre reveals a sinister plot to uncover a secret that has been protected since the days of Christ. Only the victim's granddaughter and Robert Langdon, a famed symbologist, can untangle the clues he left behind. The two become both suspects and detectives searching for not only the murderer but also the stunning secret of the ages he was charged to protect.
Kung Fu Panda
PG
Very funny and worth watching! Po the Panda is the laziest animal in all of the Valley of Peace, but unwittingly becomes the chosen one when enemies threaten their way of life.
Blindness

Fantastic film!!! One of the best I've seen this year totally. A doctor's wife becomes the only person with the ability to see in a town where everyone is struck with a mysterious case of sudden blindness. She feigns illness in order to take care of her husband as her surrounding community breaks down into chaos and disorder. Based on a novel by Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago.

WOW I'm so happy seeing this film. Totally inspiring, this is the best movie of the year for me and one of my favorite's alltime. I'm just speechless of such a profound simple yet moving story about love. "Once" is a modern-day musical set on the streets of Dublin. Featuring Glen Hansard and his Irish band "The Frames," "Once" tells the story of a busker and an immigrant during an eventful week as they write, rehearse and record songs that reveal their unique love story.

I recommend you see...Not a recommendation.
I'm thinking leaving Flixster. And you all know what's the main reason of such a thing. A lot of people here in Flixster don't really care much about movies and the site resources aren't that great either. So, i'm going to mantain my page, but i'm definiteley going to move to CRITICKER.com, which is fucking great btw. You can choose your own rating system (the common: 0-5 stars; 0-10 stars; 0-100 stars; whatever), it has decent pages for movies, actores and directors - flixster don't. It has a awesome community and great forums.
