I enjoyed this movie! Starts off good and ends even better.
I'm really enjoying George Clooney and Ewan McGregor and they worked well together in this one. Loved how Jeff Bridges was and I could see the Dude inside him. It was funny that Bob didn't see the he was the Master Jedi and loved the inside joke that McGregor was one in that other movie I liked. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did and don't listen to any of those other reviews that talked negative...I just think those critics don't know how to free themselves and just enjoy it. Have fun! |

It was entertaining. I liked seeing the old cars and what everyone wore back then. Why they spent so long trying to figure out how to cheat on his wife, wasn't pleasant but was funny. I agree this movie is so sexist I'm waiting for the remake! |

I had no idea really what this movie was about but when I pressed play and saw Jude Law I was happy already.
Cute movie about knowing what you want and if you believe in love you'll get it. I know what it feels like to be the one in the family that has to be responsible, even if your brother or sister thinks it's them. Another great flick to watch with the cat! |

I liked it. This movie was pretty funny. I thought it was hilarious that we never got to see Stephen and find out if he was good looking. Because you know we would skew our thoughts on him if we could.
A lot of great actresses in this movie. Good to watch on a night when it's just you and the cat. |

This isn't a Wonderful LIfe and Matthew McConaughey is no Jimmy Stewart but it was worth the watch. I do wish that I saw it on hbo instead of wasting one of my netflix options on.
It had some funny parts. I did like Michael Douglas in it, playing his seedy character that he does so well. |

I liked it! I must admit that I had no plan of seeing this until I was told to watch it because he bought it on itunes and then left so somebody had to watch it and that somebody was me! Wow long sentence! Anyways, this was a fun movie. Didn't think too much of it until POT showed up and the soundtrack was great! Nothing better to do this summer? That's ok, get a job at Adventureland, smoke some pot, meet a cool chick, be the cool kid at work, smoke some more pot, be able to drink at 18 I think they were, and then smoke some more pot. I forgot what my point was but I remember pot in there somewhere so it must be all good. I was kinda worried that Jesse Eisenberg was trying to be another Michael Cera but hey if the dorky cute guy gets the girl, why not! I'm interested to see what other movie he has to give me. It may be just the 14-yr old girl trapped inside of me or the pothead, but I gotta say I enjoyed this movie and I'm glad I was forced to watch it. I hope you enjoy it too! (for the same reasons!) Rent it now! |
