Watched it 3 times, amazing story and details. Of course Nicole Kidman and Cameron Bright(cuuuuute) were so great. As Jonathan Glazer's second movie, which was totally different from "Sexy Beast", but both of em are great!

What a life. it's got its Hollywood moments, but overall it is a nearly perfect picture. Reminded me of Pride & Prejutice, and A Streetcar Named Desire. and The Thorn Birds. Probably they were all influenced by Gone with the Wind. The acting were great, especially the beautiful Vivien Leigh, and Hattie McDaniel. And Clark Gable was soo charming and sad. You don't know what you have until it's gone.

A movie about relationships, love, music, history, and growing up. Like I always say, Julie Taymor is too good for words.

One of the Fred & Ginger movie which has a different and more interesting plot. It had some of my all time fav songs. And that roller skates number should be one of the best number in history!

Ah, women, the most beautiful and complex creature. I FINALLY got a dvd of this in China after desperately looking for it, and it was better than I expected! Extremely funny, classy, and you cant get a better cast than they have in The Women. It's like Gossip Girl, but older, in the 30s. Gossip, glamour, marriage, fashion, men(although none of them appeared in the film), oh, and l'amour, l'amour!!

Reminded me of "The Return" in a way. Although everyone is very lonely, the cinematography seems very cold(of course its also because it's Scotland), but there's something warm about the story and the characters. It's a story purely about love. Loved the cast, every actors was right for the characters. Good music too, especially when Damien Rice's delicate started playing, I just started crying...

Juno
(2007, PG-13)
It's a movie about growing up, refusing to grow up, and being who you are. I absolutely LOVED it! There are many parts I just couldn't stop crying. Ellen Page's performance really was worth Gloden Globe nominated! And Michael Gere was just adorable. This movie, with great music, was written by Diablo Cody, possiblly the hottest writer that's out there right now! It was smart, well-developed characters and witty, funny, just clever! Although I really liked Thank You For Smoking, but Jason Reitman certainly improved a lot. And this is maybe the 1st movie that made me like Jennifer Garner!

Loved how Bertolucci mixed scenes from classics, and all the details that tells you the history background directly. Very sexy, deep and sad, and a lil ironic..

You can find true love in 1 sec! Such a cuuuute movie! Although the purpose to see this movie is because Lena Headey is in it, but I actually fell in love w/ Matthew Goode!

Everyone in this movie is sooo fucking lonely. One of the most intense and weird movie I've ever seen. Strong performances, especially from Tom Cruise.

I don't really know how to describe my feelings towards this movie. I just simply loved it. I had so many i-knew-he/she's-gonna-say-that moements, and the camera used alot different and great angles. Although I really liked "Spider lillies", personally I think she did better in "Isabella".

A character-driven and action-driven movie! It's like a uncut documentery with great photography. Best nature vs. human movie I've seen yet. It's verrrrry slow-paced, but I felt like there's no need to rush it, the pace and the beautiful visual images made it peaceful and breathtaking. I wouldn't recommand this to any of my friends though, it is indeed a very different movie...I loved a lot close-up scenes when they both just walk for 10 min without saying a word, and the soundtrack is perfect

1st part of movie: cute, sweet, and the guy is a jerk. 2nd part of the movie: creepy stalker, obsessive, and poor guy...

Best 007 movie yet, and Eva Green is the best Bond girl in history! Surprisingly, Daniel Craig became my fav Bond.

It got a little slower in the middle, but the ending was great and overall it's a meaningful and sensational film! I really didn't expect that..thought it's another 1 of those sequals using 2 hot actors to get more money..I was totally wrong!! It actually was better than L'Auberge Espagnole.

Once
(2007, R)
It's so real, so touching, w/ the way it was acted and shot, it's almost like documentery. Two stranger/musicians bonding, creating amazing music, and the ending, it's just inspirational. Fucking loved it!!!!!! Best film I've seen this yr, yet.

1 of my fav director, 1 of my fav actor, 1 of my fav musicien, and 1 of my fav genre...I loved everything about this film, the performances, the visual effects, the small details of changes in different times, the well-developed characters, and especially, the music, which was written by Johnny Greenwood!! I literally watched it twice in the theatre today. There're only 1 complain: lack of strong female characters. Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano are just beyond great.

Love the cast! Both Naomi Watts and Edward Norton gave great performances. Music, of couse, by Alexander Desplat, was beautiful and mixed with Chinese traditional music. I literally couldn't stop crying watching this movie.

I couldn't stop crying after watching 21 Grams. Great writing+Great director(have you seen Babel? How fucking good was that!?)+Great actors(not 1, but 3 leads are some of the very best actors these days) +Great complex plot=Fucking Great movie. I totally felt the sadness of Cristina when she talks about her daughters shoes, I had that feeling before...Watching this movie it's like sovling a puzzle, get first you're confused, then you start to see every pieces of them, it's like life.

Igby=Holden. It's funny, it's sad, it's powerful, it's rebellious, and it's Catcher in the Rye. Great acting and writing. Seems like every good movies features Coldplay's Don't Panic(ex:Garden State). And I have to say I fucking hated Ryan Phillippe's character.

Haunting! Ange Lee at his best. A movie that talked about history, culture, human nature, hidden talents, making choices, sex, love, and that human beings can bring out of complex emotions that can't be described with words. Although the pace was a bit slow, the characters were well-developed with great, I mean GREAT, brilliant, fan-motherfucking-tastic performance by Tony Leung, Joan Chen, and especially Tang Wei, only she could show the hidden self of Wong. Music written by Alexandre Desplat=great. The ending was powerful and unpredictable. With Eileen Chang's short story as the base had already helped alot for Ang Lee to bring out more from the characters to show the complicated relationship between the two. And the sex scenes are probably the most amazing one's I've seen which helped the audience to understand sooooo much more about the two.

A classic indie romance film! This is like my ultimate(and maybe many girls) fantasy. A movie that make you feel good and happy, although the end left me speechless and all sad. Everyone in this film is sooooo nice, Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy gave great great performances as two stranger who met on a train and became soulmates as they spent one night in Vienna. And the scene in the phone booth was soo natural, cute and realistic. My only complaints would be that some characters were unrealistic(how can everyone be SOOOO nice?!) and the simple camera angles.

It's hard to make a enjoyable and great sequal of a movie, but I guess we were sooo engaged and drawn to the story and the characters Jesse and Celine, after 9 yrs, Before Sunset's plot became so important to us. Again, Linklater's old style-the film was shot in "real-time", about 80 min before sunset. There were no kissing, only a lilttle hugging and small talks, but we can still feel the intimacy and strong attraction between the two like the phone booth scene in Before Sunrise, in addition to that, we can feel the sadness and the need to be with one another in order to be "complete" is so strong. Fav scene was when they were fighting in the car, both characters hesitated to touch the other as they looked away. I love the dreams and the songs they have about each other, and the lies they said to cover the truth. The ending strikes me everytime, I love/hate it, it's reality, but do they end up together?!???

1 of my fav work by Tom Tykwer! You can't imagine how hard it is to turn such masterpiece into a film, though the orgy scene was a little strange, but he at least captured the main idea of the book and tried his best to show it to the audience. Music was fucking great! I cried just listening to the music...
