Horton Hears a Who! - G "And he sought, and he sought, for the speck he found not!" I love Dr. Seuss. May 12, 2008

El Orfanato (The Orphanage) - R El Laberinto del Fauno, one of Guillermo del Toro, is one of my favorite movies, so I thought I'd checked this one out.
The plot is quite weak at times, leaving some holes throughout the story. But it works when they want you to feel the chills because you're not sure what's going to happen. Twisted end, but too similar to El Laberinto del Fauno for me.
The young actor, Princep, does a great job, I totally fell in love with him.

Imagine Me & You - R An unconventional but touching love story. Started watching it with no interest but got involved with the characters throughout the movie. Perabo and Headey make it work on screen, they create this atmosphere where you feel only love, not caring if they're the same sex or not. Makes you feel like it's a real story. May 11, 2008

Reservation Road - R Strong performances by Connelly and Phoenix. Ruffalo was good enough for the part. May 2, 2008

Eastern Promises - R Real indeed, I loved the unexpected twists. Cruelty and truth at its best. Great job by Mortensen. March 22, 2008

Across the Universe - PG-13 Great film, I totally loved what they did with all the songs. The plot is quite interesting and it only makes you fall in love with the Beatles all over again. March 10, 2008

The Bucket List - PG-13 What do you want to do before you kick the bucket? Lots of things huh, the theme is a bit wasted nowadays but two great actors are in this movie. It has some great and touching scenes. There's nothing great to it but it's entirely enjoyable. March 5, 2008

Juno - PG-13 I didn't know much about this young actress, but indeed she threw a hell of a performance. Juno is worth watching because of her way of playing her role. It's a nice film, which lets you celebrates life instead of crying when things have gone wrong.
Pretty interesting and unsual soundtrack, but very likeable.

Lions for Lambs - R The only interesting thing worth watching was the dialogue between Redford and the kid. Streep could have been better. And Cruise is no actor to me. January 24, 2008

The Brave One - R Sort of a perfectioned version of Enough, but with more reality and style thrown in. Jodie Foster does a great performance. January 22, 2008
