| Babel - R |
Definitely one of the best movies that have come out lately. The stories are so greatly intertwined, and each representing different cultures, but in the end it demonstrates we are all humans and that fate can be unfair many times. I really really liked Brad Pitt's performance (and i'm not a Pitt fan) he was able to really make me feel how was feeling about his wife. Cate Blanchett was pretty good as well. All the actors in this movie can be proud of what it came out in the end. Two thumbs up. |

| Because I Said So - PG-13 |
Mandy Moore is so fake at "acting" I think I could do better. This movie could have been just a bit better if Mandy Moore wasn't the center of it. Diane Keaton was good enough, madke me laugh at some point with Collins. Nothing great about it. |

| Hot Fuzz - R | A combination of bad boys, comedy, police, blood, murder, laughs... definitely worth watching, it makes you like it from beginning to end, I just fell in love with Danny boy (Frost). In a way it portrays how strong the friendship (or partnership in this case) can be. I enjoyed it! | August 13, 2007 | N/A | |||
| The Invisible - PG-13 |
This movie lacked a lot, I think the plot wasn't portrayed as it should have been, it doesn't get you to care about the characters. I found it a bit confusing, it doesn't clearly tell you what's the real connection between the two main characters and why she's able to hear him or why she's the only one that can bring him back. |

| I, Robot - PG-13 |
I finally saw this film on Fox, and it grabbed me the moment it started. There's a lot of sci-fi action and too-fake scenes but it's worth watching. Smith did a Smith performance haha. I think it's interesting how they portray our future, and it makes you think about where is humankind heading to. |

| The Simpsons Movie - PG-13 |
I was never a Simpson fan, but who doesn't know this family? The plot was a bit superficial but it got through nicely, always making emphasis on each character and their personality. It was definitely FUN to watch. |

| Cansada de besar Sapos (Tired of Kissing Frogs) - R |
At first I didn't want to see it, it just didn't catch my attention but i saw it with my best friend and I have to confess that i had my laughs with this film. I didn't expect much from the actors, but Serradilla and Layevska were more than enough for me, i had seen Layevska in some soap operas but in here she's way better. I must say that it has it's fairy tale ending, but i don't regret seeing it, i really needed to laugh and this movie made me do it. |

| Mystic River - R |
Once more i am thrilled by one of Eastwood's films. Definitely a piece of art, Sean Penn does a GREAT performance, I definitely fell in love with the way he owns his character in this film, i could feel his pain. Robbins and Bacon are very good as well and never disappointing. The plot is a bit tangled but well done, at a point it definitely tells you everything that is about to happen. Two thumbs up! |

| Crank - R | Action thrill. A bit pointless. Blah... | July 8, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Alpha Dog - R |
It pretty much kept my attention throughout the whole movie. Despite the fact that the whole cast (except Willis and Stone) is young, it was a pretty good performance. All of them were believable enough, especially Foster and Yelchin. The plot is very real and interesting, it describes itself nicely and there's no confusing around. I think i would recommend it. |

| Man cheng jin dai huang jin jia (Curse of the Golden Flower) - R |
This movie is very very interesting, smart in a way. Very historic and interesting plot, keeps you going when you watch it. All actors were amazing, very well performed and very well shot. Some scenes were extremely GREAT, as for example when the ninjas fall on top of the roof. Also, there was some symbolismo and great colors. There was a contrast where you saw tons of vivid colors, and others where the scenes were very obscure, describing the family itself. |

| Next - PG-13 |
Cage is old but still can do something. Biel is... i never thought she was a good actress. Moore is great. Fun, but a bit empty. Some shots were crappy. |

| The Last King of Scotland - R | Hats off for Forrest Whitaker, very well done. Well shot, some scenes are so realistic, it just shoves it on your face. McAvoy does a pretty good job as well. It's nice to see movies like this one, it teaches you a bit of history from far away places like Uganda. | June 23, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - PG | June 23, 2007 | N/A | ||||
| The Queen - PG-13 | I never really cared about the British monarchy, but everyone knew who Princess Diana was. The impressive thing is, that Mirren's performance is so great that i actually understood the queen, and even got to admire her. This is an excellente, well shot, well directed, well performed film. It just runs nice and smooth, coherently and it's not boring. | June 22, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Domino - R |
I enjoyed this film very much. Interesting and fun to follow. Rourke and Knightley held good performances, and Edgar Ramirez was pretty hot =) Although at some point it confused me a bit, but it was fun. |
