A real tribute to Johnny Cash! One of the best films i've ever seen - well staged and with one of the best soundtracks ever. Great performances from Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, Robert Patrick (playing Cash's father) also deserves a mention.

This movie always makes me laugh!... and cry in equal measure! Really charming performances from both Hepburn and Peppard coupled with some brilliant touches of humour (check out the party scene!) make this one of the decade's best - an absolute classic! Just like Hepburn's oh-so-stylish wardrobe!

Two words. Very Slick.

It's a crime this film didn't win more Oscars - only two!!! One of the greatest films ever made. A great cast, fantastic script and a perfectly recreated 50s Hollywood. Highly recommended.

The true story of the Battle of Rourke's Drift. Breathtaking scenery (Technicolour rules!) and stirring score make this one of the most memorable and poignant (wait for the scene where Michael Caine asks Stanley Baker "Is it always like this?") films of all time. Truly unforgettable. Second viewings recommended as you can't take it all in the first time.

A mile off base, but it's done so much to renew interest in the assassination that i just have to love it!

One of the most brutal gangster films ever made! Uncannily accurate as to the fate of London's docklands, and a totally cool soundtrack!

Outstanding. Shocking truth about the lengths politicians will go to. All the more incredible for its being made only a couple of years after the event. Great performances from both Redford and Hoffman.

Fantastic film! Incredible stunts, great cast and taught plotting. Robert Downey Jr. and Tommy Lee Jones make a great 'chalk-and-cheese' combination, and Joe Pantoliano is (as always) solid in a supporting role.

Fantastic film! The political/biowarfare/terrorism themes seem even more relevant today than when it was made. An excellent turn from Richard Harris as always, though Sophia Loren seems a little wooden. A good script - nicely paced, and a great ending. Highly recommended.

A really great social commentary on the evils of allowing 'colour' to divide us. Fantastic special effects and a great cast. Well done!

A prophetic warning of just how dangerous nuclear power is. (The partial meltdown on Three Mile Island happened shortly after the film was released.)

One of the best rhythm and blues soundtracks to s movie ever!

Taught, tense and with a truly ruthless performance from Willis. An admirable remake of the classic 'Day Of The Jackal'. Gere also gives a solid turn, but is let down by his appalling Irish accent. On the whole though an excellent film. well worth an evening in.

Alan Rickman is so deliciously evil - the man you just love to hate!

A little (well, a lot actually) confused, but with some nice touches. Good CGI and a nice stylistic tone (very Bladerunner and Minority Report) help to keep this watchable - though the convoluted plot will probably mean you'll need to see it twice just to understand it! Who's working for who again?!

I think this is really great! It's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously! I think Rod Steiger is really good in his role.

Not the world's best movie, but not the worst either. Some funny moments, a little predictable, but a great performance from Geoffrey Rush as a neurotic writer.

Absolutely ace biopic! I've always been a fan of 'The Killer' and Quaid really captures the essence of his persona.

A patriotic true story of British exploits during WWII. Fantastic performances from the whole cast, unforgettable theme music, a gripping climax, and a heartbreaking final scene with Richard Todd. Stirring stuff!
