[REC] is been getting so much hype but is similar to 28 days later,not better or scarier in my opinion.The film is not intense from start to finish.The first half wasted time with unnecessary dialog in the beginning & also with the reporter making interviews with all the chaos going on.Most of the action & intense moments happens during the second half but few scenes are too dark or out of focus just because of this trend of being filmed from a cameraman's point of view which it needs to stop.I don't see what's so pleasant about a shaky camera.The leading actress who plays a reporter named Angela delivers a good & convincing performance.The best part of the movie is tours the end.The last few minutes which unfortunately it was too short,was creepy with a unexpected twist to add to the story.

What did it for me was the sets,music & Michelle Rodriguez bad chick performance.Some CGI effects didn't came through for the film & i was expecting more gore for this film that's based on a graphic video game but i still enjoy the film.
Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth

Third installment of Hellraiser not as good as the previous two but worth watching for the massacre that happens in the night club & few other bloody scenes.Wasn't so thrill with the new cenobites for this film that looks silly besides didn't care for the plot.

The first film from Pakistan plays out like a homage to few classic horror films.Is a slasher film with few zombies in it & a family of maniacs that lives in the woods.For the budget that the film was working with,it was a good attempt from this first time director.So we have teenagers with tickets to a concert that takes a wrong turn & find themselves lost & then a crazy hitchhiker gets in their van.What comes to mind is Texas chainsaw massacre.I really was looking forward to a zombie mayhem & originality with the death scenes,besides nothing original about the plot.The film manages to deliver few gory scenes,creepy atmosphere at times & it has the grainy look of a film from the 70's or early 80's which works fine for the film.This director have potential to come up with something better than this film,with a better script & to be more original.Flixster - Share Movies

The film is a gore-fest & so over the top.There's some funny moments & twisted characters.I found the film to be entertaining with some decent effects but also in the mix,some bad CGI & cheesy effects.Just expect a wild film with plenty of gore & gallons of blood spraying everywhere.

This very gruesome horror film is not for the squeamish & the faint of heart.Is the the type of film that will take you to the edge of your seat from beginning to end.Extremely bloody,gory,intense,brutal & so violent.The story might not be the greatest but is a very effective slasher film that gets under your skin with one of the most vindictive & evil villain to come around.Flixster - Share Movies

Not only Billy Zane is so good as the villain in this film but is a non stop action gory flick with great effects & the demons looks awesome.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

This is the best vampire movie of all time in my opinion because is visually stunning & such good performances specially by Gary Oldman who plays Dracula.Great costumes,movie sets & amazing special make-up effects.

The movie has some funny moments but frecuently loses the pace.
I was expecting more from the movie but it gives a good massage with an example of "How drugs could drive your life".Hey, you should really see this!
