This is so bad, wow. The only redeeming point is the Playboy slut protagonist who looks like Blair Waldorf.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

So colourful, explosive, amazing, beautiful, brilliant, confusing, hilarious, uncanny, amazing, amazing, amazing. Definitely one of the best and oddest movies of the year. My one critique? Johnny Depp could have done with more screentime for his lines and mannerism were pure genius. And the story could have used some extra narrative as there was quite a lot of figuring out required towards the end.

Very beautifully shot and the techniques used to show memory erasure nside Joel's mind was very clever and believable. Jim Carrey's performance as silent emo prettyboy is brilliant and he still manages to inject his own comic personality. Strong performances and great storyline, should be seen by romantics. Before I forget, the movie plays with an utterly riveting and constantly-tugging-your-heartstrings score.
Burn After Reading

Very, very odd. The characters seem to be unimportant (with none of the major roles appearing in the ending) and everything on screen is utter chaos. Takes a little time to get into though but worth every second. It's a refreshing feeling watching such established actors taking up ridiculous roles and performing them astonishingly funnily. Also amazing ending.
