Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007,  R)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
This movie was great! The person who suprised me the most was Sacha Baron Cohen. His part in the movie was a comic relief that lifted the spirit of the film. Of course, this is to not overlook the talent of the actors. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter have always made a great team together and paired up once more for this fantastic film. Even though Johnny Depp had never done a musical before, you could not see any uneasiness or unsureness in his voice. The Soundtrack was wonderful. Though Tim Burton does make strange films, Sweeny Todd had a different feel to it than his previous movies and does not feel over the top except with all the "Kill Bill" squirting blood. This is definitely a movie I would pay to go see again.
