I am a independent filmmaker. I write scripts, I direct, I even had some experience with acting and I'm not just talking about high school drama class. I am obessed with film, I walk around all day with headphones on listening to soundtracks. I like to put the iPod on shuffle and try to guess what movie the song came from, than guess the artist and during what scene was this song playing. I have a huge DVD collection, I'm like a video store for my friends. I like to play "Scene It?" Love the art of Film, All Genres, Love watching behide the scenes. I'm going to try to express myself with more quotes:
"There he goes, One of God's own prototypes. A high powered mutant of some kind, never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die." Another Quote that describes me, "I don't wanna brag or anything but, I'm a raging ball of wild fur." After about a month of being on the site, I feel it is important to say this. I don't want to be your friend if we have not chat, so don't send me your stupid invite, especially if you haven't filled out your profile. I don't want to chat with any one under the ages of 18. I don't mind personal chat or date chat or whatever you want to call it. I think meeting people and watching movies go together. If you want to chat personal please mark them private. If your going to be on this site please fill out your page, otherwise go back to myspace. I feel that everyone should say or do whatever they want but, show some respect. Now if you have made it through my little disclaimer. Please enjoy my profile and tell me what you think. Here are some questions that might help start a conversation. Feel free to post your answers. 1. If you had the power to remake any movie you want, what would it be and why? 2. What is in your pockets right Now? 3. If you were to star in a movie and you were the director, who would be your co-star and why would you cast that person? 4. What is your favorite snack at the movie theater. What is your favorite snack when your at home watching a movie? myspace |

Hell Ride
R
What a boring movie. It took way too long to get to the point. A lot of people killing each with no real reason. It had a lot of nudity and hot women in fact it was the only entertaining part. The acting was mediocre and the story was lacking content. It seemed like they were aiming for a good B rated movie and it turn out worse.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno

When I first saw the trailers for this I thought it was going to a bad Superbad or 40 Year Old Virgin. After watching it, I see that Kevin Smith really stuck with his style and made it his own. At first I thought it was just a shameless flick riding the Seth Rogan train but with Kevin Smith's raunchy but witty dialogue, I think it really shines through on its own. The ending was very predictable and the story was a little far fetched but I still found it enjoyable and it kept me laughing.
RocknRolla

Guy Ritchie always seems to impress me. His gritty style is very entertaining. There is some many interesting characters and its fun to see how they are all intertwined. With so much going on story wise it always keeps you guessing on how its going to end.

Fight Club

First rule in fight club is you don't talk about fight club, the second rule is YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB. So I'm not going to. I guess your going to have to see it. One thing I'll say is the fighting in this movie is real, its not like everyone knows martial arts and fanacy moves that wouldn't work in a real fight. Its in your face, dirty, and on the ground. Its like watching a UFC match. I've going to start my own fight club. I've said to much, I'm Jack's big mouth.

Braveheart

Mel Gibson is superb director and actor. A tale of love and FREEDOM. If it doesn't jerk a tear out of you at the end than you have no soul. Instant classic, if you don't own it, buy it.

The Departed

Best movie of 2006. Martin Scorsese is an going to be a legend if is not already. Amazing performances by everyone in this film. Leonardo really digs in deep when he starts losing grip on his position. You really feel for his character. Its even got some really cool music, punk rock making the scenes even more choatic. Forget trying to predict the end it will surprise no matter how good you are. I can't wait to own it.

Beowulf (2007)
by LadyThis film is worth seeing, if only for the amazing computer images. This very life-like tale is a phonomenally creative piece. You'll recognise stars even if you didn't know they appeared in the film.
The storyline at times was hard to concentrate on, but that only goes to show the detail that went into the film.
Quite surprising the certificate for this film is just a 12 and there are some pretty violent scenes, certainly not one for the young children to watch. From the reviews I've read, you're either going to love it or hate it

Iron Man (Ironman)
by ShadowIt was okay but not really exciting. I liked the action sequence but that was way too short. I was underwhelmed by this movie and still think Downey Jr. was a crappy choice for a superhero. The storyline was too edited down as well. It made the film dull. I probably will not watch the next one.
Dull as dirt except for the one action sequence. Downey Jr. is no superhero and the movie was very underwhelming.

My Left Foot
by LadyA phonominal true story brought to life by the fantastic performances of Daniel Day Lewis and Brenda Fricker.
This Jim Sherridan film really grasps the poverty of the era which really gives you a sense of a working class family during this time. Also captured well was the Mother and son relationship and the strength of a family that stands together.
Powerful, emotional and brilliant. One from the late 80's, I'm sure many of you have already seen, but it's definitely worth a re-visit if you have.
