It was.... fine, I guess. The special effects were stupid, and it just made the movie suck!! But it must have been sort of good because I was able to watch the whole thing.

Awwww so cute! I love this, it's much better than I thought it would be, plus really cute. Sara Paxton always plays a mean girl, but this was different!

Planet Terror
by AndrewThou art alot better then the shit that was Death Proof. Thank God! This is what I was hoping from both of them, just mindless over the top fun! That is what I had heard the old Grindhouse movies were like. It had a great sense of fun all the way through and it felt more like old in a way tacky movies. I wonder wether Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino did a draw of what elements of the old Grindhouse movies that they would both have. Looks like rodriguez got the luck of the draw. Death Proof felt un-fun and boring. It also didn't keep the old dirty scratched look which added at least something worthwhile about it. This keeps that feel all the way through, right from the cracking fake Machete trailer (which looks like it would actually make a good movie "They fucked with the wrong Mexican", hehe) to the mini-gun limb ending. The gore is as over the top as you could imagine and the actors are well cast and look like they're having a ball. Some of it is quite sick and twisted, but also generally inventive. Biggest example of that, a machine gun leg, that is just really screwed up but such a great idea and it works with the movie. Some people will defiantly be turned off by the dark humour and violence, but its Robert Rodriguez, what do you think you're getting a film about cute little fluffy aliens meeting other ones and looking for an extra cute new home world after theirs because over run by evil but still slightly cute aliens. As Rose McGowan says in the movie, "This is fucking ridiculous!", true but it is such a riot to watch!

Funny Games (2008)
by ♥LisaSpoiler ALert:
Do not read this if you want to see this movie! You have been warned.Ok now then.I wanted to see this movie because I love Naomi Watts. Now for the life of me I can't understand why the girl would bother getting involved in a movie like this. It's an utter MESS.Pointless, plotless, and so boring and dragged out at times you could go do meaningless tasks for 10 minute stretches during certan parts of this.Honestly in my opinion a complete waste of film.I would like to see the original (I think) but there is just NO answers, like why were these 2 white gloved weirdos doing all tyhis crap AT ALL?Also WHO in their right minds could just carry on and barely even cry or be upset after their son has just been blown away in front of them.WHAAAAAAAAAAAATEVER.Totally unrealistic.CRAP I really wanted to like this one.Hey, you should really NOT see this!

In Bruges
by ♥LisaThis was a pretty cool movie,I was just expecting more of what the trailer gives us.What you get though is kind of an unexpected suprise.A story of Regret,Haunting memories and even sadness at times. It's kind of a dark comedy,I liked it ,like I said if you are looking for the whole movie to be like the trailer you will most likely be disappointed.

In the Shadow of the Moon
by AndrewIt is really nice to see a documentary that isn't riddled to the core with controversy. Don't get me wrong, I think Michael Moore is a good film-maker, but he has given documentarys a stereotyep. Sure they're effective for putting a message across, but that doesn't mean thats what every documentary should be. In the Shadow of the Moon tells us the story of some very unique individuals. The beginning statement opens up with, "This is their story," it really is only theirs. Going to space is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity but to walk on a different place that is miles away from our planet, isjust truely mindblowing. The men in question, Buzz Aldrin, Mike Collins etc (minus Neil Armstrong mind), give their stories to us, so we could at least have some sort of knowledge of what it would feel like to be up there. This film is very well crafted and edited, using real footage to all its glory. The footage of space leaves you in awe. Those people who think that the first moon landing was staged should see this movie. It is too much of a spectacular thing for it to have been filmed in a studio somewhere. This doc mainly focuses on the Apollo 11 landing whilst also talking about the build up and the aftermath. Sometimes in this film, the facts are not fully explained so that some people who don't know much about may not fully understand. But this movie is really for anybody who has ever been fascinated by space. Ever since I read a space pop up book when I was about 5, I have found space magnificent and mysterious. My imagination would just think of all the possibilities of outer-space. These men in this film have experienced something that is just, well, amazing. Just think of the emotions that you must have when you see Earth and could cover it over with your thumb. Think when you come back from space, whenever you look up at the stars or the moon, you could say, "I've been up there, I've walked across that." That is something that many of us will never experience. Those men are truely unique.
