Was waiting for it before all the hype and quite fortunately it didn't disappoint. However it isn't exactly the best film ever made as claimed by some... :) Stunning visuals for sure and this is re-watchable material, unlike Titanic... haha :) Storyline is not exactly something that hits you with a punch as it is rather predictable. |

Action comedy with generous splashes of red paint and precise "slices" of human body parts to tickle you :) Of course, not forgetting the mutilated toned body of Rain in the movie that he had painfully sculpted in 6 months... down to 0% fat. Traces of Kill Bill and a very predictable plot but still an entertaining watch. |

The additional 0.5 star because it was better than I expected it to be. Cast may not be the greatest (with Kip as the lead here seems a bit wierd) but interesting storyline and though title suggested GORE - it didn't exactly spell gore. So fans of gore may be a tad disappointed but to me the idea was brought acrossed nicely, surreal and not too overboard :) |
