The Dark Knight

although this is the greatest movie i have seen all year long, it is not however Best Picture stuff... the developments of the characters are fine, but the length of the movie was not, sadly in my mind, long enough to get everything put in its place... yes, it should have been longer... sorry Ebert... the use of CG graphics was more abused this time in our return trip to Nolans Gotham... but that is quite understandable considering the amount of action instilled within the plot... to touch once more upon the development of the characters, i went in there wishing Harvey/Two-Face would live, and be the villain for the third movie... but with the story he was given, i can't imagine him being in there with a purpose... i was very surprised about the death of Rachel: something i didn't see coming... wow... but that does, however, open the possibility door about a certain love interest of Batman... a dangerous one at that... and last but not least, The Joker... an absolutely amazing performance by Heath Ledger... i must say, i never really cared much for his choices as an actor or a man... but he really outdid himself on this one, probably too much... in summary, help this film to become number 2 all -time in the B.O.... heck, how bout number 1?

this WAS the best Batman movie ever... but for once, i must admit that a sequel actually was better than its predecessor... for The Dark Knight was really an excellent movie... but it all began with this one, Batman Begins

Favreau did an excellent job making Iron Man and will make the next one even better i think... this film ushers in a new era of Marvel superhero movies... an era that everyone will be excited to witness, and be a part of
