I am sooo in love with this movie you have no idea. I absolutely adore everything about it, plus I'm in love with the main actor. Just brilliant... The journey the main character goes on... I can totally relate. If you watch one foreign movie let it be this one!

A truly phenomenal modern fairy tale masterpiece. This movie had me gripped throughout. I was sympathetic to certain characters from the start and intrigued what my eyes would behold as I carried on watching it. True brilliance.

The friend, Maggie, is also portayed with amazing honesty, and sometimes the lesbian friend steals the show. Beautifully acted. I want my own Eric to take home to mum.

This is one of the best family movies you will ever watch. It's a great movie with a great message, amazing animation, wicked soundtrack, and may well be one of the cutest movies you have ever seen. It's also really funny. If you haven't watched it yet then what are you waiting for?!

There is nothing like a good black comedy, and this film does not disappoint! Dame Maggie Smith is an absolute diamond as ever, and the rest of the cast are hilarious. This movie is great fun and nicely twisted. Mum and I had a good giggle.

This movie is equally as cheesy as the first one, and does run along a similar line in some ways. Just with different twists. What can I say though? I still adore it, and you still get to see two of the main hot male actors full frontal on top of that... Marco Dapper... Step into my boudoire... And a gay movie sequel?! Definitely a first!

This is one of the sweetest foreign movies I have seen in a long time. It has a big heart. It's like a grittier 'Ma Vie En Rose'. Much better characters and actors. The lead makes you realise how beautiful he is without hardly trying, although he does have more mince than the local butcher's!! Brilliant.

This movie has a lot more heart and soul than Flags of Our Fathers. It shows the Japanese showing more mercy than the Americans which was surprising, although not at the same time. It shows the futility of war when one nation is a giant compared to the other. You can relate it to any war you like. I love the bleakness of the cinematography colours too.

Jack Baxter who plays Midget Hollow is absolutely stunning, and you totally fall for his confused character who is sleeping with both sexes. This movie reminds me of how much I miss Australia and Australians too! Love their sense of humour and must move back there!

It is great watching this movie unravel. It unravels slowly, but so did the case over the years, so why should the movie be any faster? I actually cringed at the killings. Probably because I knew this happened to actual people. I'm sure the Zodiac is smiling from his grave that this movie was made. One of the best movies I'd seen in a long time. Watching each member of the family struggle with their own demons after the death of the oldest son is just amazing. They are all completely different characters with their own slight similarities. It is really funny in places and completely poignant. Sigourney Weaver and Emile Hirsch steal the show and rightly so. This movie may be bloody but it's bloody brilliant as well!! THe acting is second to none, and although you feel for the victims I found you also end up feeling for the killers by the end. If you like horror this movie may be disturbing at times, but it is well worth it!

This is the best vampire movie since The Lost Boys and Blade. Love the premise, especially as parts of Alaska do actually have 30 days of night once a year! A brilliant modern horror/modern vampire movie. Josh is sexy and brilliant as always, but the stand-out for me is Ben Foster as the freaky outsider. He's phenomenal and so is this movie!!

Ah... The classic Hairspray that started it all. Loving Divine, and loving a chubby young Ricki Lake as Tracy Turnblad. John Waters is just brilliant. I must collect all his creations! Definitely worth your time if you haven't seen it already.

Bloody brilliant martial arts action movie. One of the best I have EVER seen, and if you think you could have fit any more action sequences into this movie then your nose must be bigger than Pinocchio's! I think this film attacks the subject brilliant, with the fact I was questioning if my partner was killed in such an attack would I maybe seek revenge and take it into my own hands as the authorities hadn't? If I loved someone that much... Yes, I probably would. Brilliant movie that needed to be made, and very well done.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is one of the best foreign movies I have ever seen. It's full of amazing shots, amazing acting, and amazing characters. The suspense is phenomenal as is the drama, and my God... is it worth it! This movie is also incredibly bleak but done with such compassion. Incest isn't a nice subject, but this tackles it with gusto that includes both innocence and violent angst... All I can say is watch it for yourself!

This is even better than Happy Feet and that is one of my fave animated movies of all time! You can't beat this movie... It's an animated mockumentary with such comic humour I wanna kiss Chicken Joe before I turn him into nuggets. It's a movie that is a real joy and made me laugh far more than a lot of real-life comedies. F**king brilliant. And I mean that!

This movie addresses a hell of a lot of issues, and has some amazingly beautiful cinematography. It has a lot I can relate to from bullying to coming of age to unrequited love for another guy. The main character is 13 though, and although I understand his coming of age it makes me uncomfortable as at times he is turned into a real sex object. Nevertheless it makes for amazing yet uncomfortable viewing, which in some ways the issues involved should be, so, sheer artistic genius...

Wow! David Morse is generally scary as the neighbour in suspicion. Definitely an amazing drama/thriller. It actually scared me more than most horrors and is a brilliant concept! What would I do if I was under house arrest? Probably go insane! I definitely wouldn't spy on mnay of my neighbours as this neighbourhood is dull! Sheer genius though!

This is a completely original fairy tale I was thoroughly impressed by... Really enjoyable from Ms Danes as a star in human form to Mr DeNiro as a gay pirate. Great fun, great effects, and yet again Ms Pfeiffer makes a great b***h, and Charlie Cox is a loveable nerd. Brilliant casting.

This is a great re-invention of Halloween. It was really great to see some more of Michael as a kid and trying to get your head around how he works. Has a really great cast and Rob Zombie has shown himself to be a great horror director once more! This is a movie that is completely original and entertaining! Hilarious points to it, and great mix of characters and gore! There are times when it pays homage to movies like 'An American Werewolf in London' with the effects amongst other things, but bloody brilliant and a complete riot! I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy this movie just as much as I ended up doing! It really is complete and thorough family entertainment... There are references that anyone can understand, and the fact that it is a Disney movie that takes the mickey (if you'll excuse the pun) out of itself is fab! The songs, the chipmunk, and the outright cheesiness are sheer brilliance!

I actually thoroughly injoyed this movie and thought it was like an alien version of 28 Days Later... The acting was brilliant, as I thought was the story-line. Many will disagree, but I highly recommend it... Well deserved paranoia thrown in for good measure, which I usually hate in movies!

Wow... Heath Ledger is absolutely phenomenal in this movie. Talk about leaving this planet with a bang. I thought Brandon Lee in The Crow did that in style, but Heath gives us a Tour de Force as the ultimate Joker. This movie brings it all... From Bale's brooding Batman once more to Eckhart similarly rubbing Tommy Lee's Two-Face into the dust. More disturbing, dark, and brilliant than any of those earlier Batman films... Sheer genius of comic hero perfection...

This is a brilliant documentary movie all about horror movies, and the history of the slasher genre. Great insight from the greats like John Carpenter, and Wes Craven. And really interesting to find out about budgets, what killed the genre, and what resurrected it. Real shame that Texas Chainsaw Massacre wasn't given a nod to, but great stuff...

Bloody brilliant... You want action?! You get action with this plus some. The first chase on foot is completely unbelievable, but who cares? It a stunning piece of cinematography and effects, and worth every penny in my book. I'm liking the love interest true. She's feisty. We know it is impossible to achieve or survive all they go through, but hey, it's Bond.

This is one amazing movie that keeps you guessing. What is happening next? What did happen to her son? I did guess the ending, but obviously not to the extent. This is a movie that becomes an experience. It is so good that I was moved to tears! That doesn't usually happen for a movie like this. Even if films like this disturb you, if you watch this you'll be glad you did.

This is one of the sexiest films I have ever seen! If you don't mind fairly graphic sex scenes this is just incredibly well done. The emotion brought through the characters as well as passion is just immense. It is shot well, with a soundtrack that doesn't over-power the goings on. Understated at times to it's own advantage this is one steamy watch that is well worth it!

You have to have a sense of humour, and some B movie intelligence to enjoy this film. Jenna Jameson as an undead stripper?! The guy who starts the infection is called Byrd Flough (Bird Flu)... It starts off with the acting SO bad! But after 20 minutes it gets better and better... The effects crew on this are phenomenal... Seriously any horror fanatic will bow down to the variety of deaths, and zombies getting more degraded... I say watch it if any of this appeals!

This movie takes no prisoners... Even though the whole of Scotland is imprisoned within itself! If you worry about getting bored in a movie... Well, you don't have a chance to in this one... It is phenomenal... I can even let slide that while one faction ends up being cannibalistic punks the other have reverted to medieval times, because this is an action movie tour de force with a hell of a lot of guts (literally!) and well worth a watch!

This movie is pure clean entertainment, and doesn't try to be anything else! A musical with Julie Walters and Meryl Streep?! It had to be good really! Shame Pierce Brosnan has to open his mouth, but it's colourful, vibrant, and camp... A lot like me really...

This is one sexy movie... And weird as always when it comes to Larry Clark's movies! The main character is weirdly attractive, and all characters have weird quirks with them and their families. It has it's own very bizarere insight!

There are some brilliant camera shots in this, and it has the most eclectic soundtrack I've heard in a while. Gabe Nevins plays the moody skate-boarding lead really well (although I'm guessing it wasn't a stretch), and is scarily beautiful. You can't help but want to watch him. Very interesting drama... But it does has dull points where you're willing something to happen!

This movie just gets better and better... If you want a horror that could genuinely freak you out, and you don't mind it being world cinema then take a chance on this. It is filmed incredibly well, and blows Blair Witch & Cloverfield well out the water with hand-held freakiness! A couple of jump out your seat moments too, but I'll leave you to find them... Genius!

This movie is just phenomenal! I was laughing throughout, Julie Andrews and Lesley Ann Warren were phenomenal, and deserved their Oscar nominations for their roles in it, the music is brilliant, as is the story-line. This movie is so risque for it's time what with a certain epidemic coming out at the time. Now one of my favourote movies for originality and brilliance...

This movie was a nice surprise... Angelina's name drew me to it, and watching it I realised it must have been when she had her lesbian relationship, as the girl is in it. The characters are really good, Ms Jolie's breasts look amazing (haha!), and you can see similarities between her character in this and her Oscar-winning performance in "Girl, Interrupted", but it's a good gritty drama. Girl power I say!

Is it awful when as a gay man you want to sleep with the three room-mates? Or just human? Or are you glad the characters are gay? Anyway, despite all that this is a really good film where you really care about the characters. There is a great story, and from young-un to the main rent boy you actually really feel for them all equally. Very well done.

I always forget just how much I love this movie! Goldie at her best. It's silly, but something you can watch with your family and be entertained and feel nice and warm and fuzzy after... Bless...

This movie was genius in 3D! About as close to having thhe real Jensen next to me as I'll get! There were brilliant 3D moments, and it's thoroughly enjoyable! The ending was a bit pants, and if I hadn't have seen it in 3D then the rating would have been lower, but wicked!

Sparkle is a hidden gem that I stumbled across! Stockhard Channing, with Anthony Head as her gay brother?! And the lead guy is doing her and her daughter! That's a crude explanation! But it's just a brilliant romantic drama, and I adore it!!

Yes, I knew I was still a die-hard Trekkie. This movie has given me faith again! This has got to be one of the best Sci Fi movies ever made! I was completely impressed with it... Every single second is well done! Chekhov shouldn't really have been in it if we're being accurate to the original series, as the insertion of his character upset Shatner back in the day, but other things were hinted at, and this was a parallel universe where circumstances have changed so I'll forgive it!! MORE PLEASE!! Much more!!

This movie is bloody genius! I loved it! I don't think I have ever jumped so much watching a film! It is pure cheese in places, and quite gratuitous, but it completely works. You don't need to take it seriously, because it doesn't take itself seriously. The bitch fight between Christine, and the old woman is cinematic gold... Reminiscent of the fight in Death Becomes Her. This movie is a must-see! Just make sure you take a valium first...

This may not be in quite the same league as "Battle Royale", but it's a similar vein of movie, and actually thoroughly surprised! I thought any movie with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & Vinnie Jones was gonna be for complete meat-heads, but think I was proved wrong. It is well made, full of action, and gore, and even has some heart and soul in it. Bloody good! Literally...

This is genius viewing! Completely takes good slasher horror and mixes it with comedy. If you are just interested in one or the other then don't watch. It also 'pastiches' elements from classic horror movies we all know. It's bloody brilliant though! And I mean bloody! Also, as a Brit, it's hilarious to know that two of the characters got morphed into characters from TV dark drama-comedy Psychoville. I only know that because I watched this after watching that and it was obvious. Good old League of Gentlemen. Watch it!

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I thought it was going to be far more cheesy than it actually was! Absolutely amazing effects, and constant non-stop action, and good characters. I would have loved an older glassification & making it slightly more gritty and adult, but hey... If you want action then this is your movie. Definitely a film you can lose track of time watching! This is a bit like X Men but without the silly costumes! I actually really enjoyed it! Some say it's flawed, but compared to crap like Jumper this is a brilliant sci fi movie, and quite original. This was a very random pastiche of a movie... There are a lot of trucker killer movies. I believe this is the first British one after Aussie and US equivalents. There were times when it was a bit too real, but also points where the main character had options that would have been better! Very odd, but amazingly acted!!

Wow! The reviews and the Oscars don't even do this film justice. It's really empowering to watch the story of someone like Milk, who campaigned so much for not only us gays, but all minorities. It's people like him, and the gays involved in the Stonewall riots that paved the way for us to be so much luckier today and not have to hide in the woodwork. I wasn't a Sean Penn fan at all until watching this film, but he embodied the real-life character he played. From smiling to anger to crying... This movie brought out every emotion. Phenomenal.

One of the best Brit horrors I've seen in a while! The cast is hot, the deaths are bloody, and some parts are a bit comical. Like Marmite you'll either love it or hate it! It's Skins meets any teen slasher! If you killed yourself after being bullied at school, wouldn't you reek revenge on your attackers? I would. Enjoyably evil.

This movie is just so bloody wrong it's right! Definitely an original concept... Vagina Dentata... It's like having a built-in chastity belt! This movie is funny, spiteful, and genius! But as a guy, you will be reaching for your ging gang goolies... Watch it and giggle.

This is a completely epic war movie... Visually stunning with amazing characters. The battle sequences are second to none, apart from the fact you can get confused as to which side you are watching, or which section of the allies is fighting. That does make it more confusing. The various ways in which each side strikes an attack, from sending their typhoid-inflicted dead, to collecting the oppositions arrows by getting them to shoot at them, were just sheer utter genius. This movie is a sensory tour de force.

Funny, unpredictable, and just downright enoyable.... Definitely one to check out if you haven't!! Full of stupid but great elements. It's the main characters and their friendships that make it. You kinda wish you were part of the fun.... Without losing part of your ear...

Wow... Kids really can be scary... And this movie proves it. Village of the Damned and The Exorcist eat your heart out. Bit more the girls in The Shining. FREAKY!! SO well edited it's untrue. Makes me think twice about working for Disney again. It's ashame it's not explained why all this is happening, but I applaud this film, and thought it was sheer genius.

This movie is simply one of the most entertaining of all time. Completely colourful, outrageous, and with fantastic costumes... Who can't relate to that? That's pretty much my life. The confused look on my little sister's face as she asked me questions about it made it even better! I can watch it again and again, if just for the sheer fact that it's Tim Curry at his sheer genius best...

Some may call is generic, but for me this was a well-acted horror/thriller that went through all emotions. Misunderstandings, deep tendencies, circumstance, and survival all lead to a good mix of character tragedy. Loved it.

Ooooh... I do love a cute German boy. But that's by the by... This is a great piece of queer foreign fun. I totally relate to the main character as dad's can be such self-righteous narcissistic twats, but you love them nonetheless. Good fun.
