not special. Also, I'm not sure they chose the right part of Clough's life to form a film around. his rise to the top is exclusive to the end credits. perhaps that was the point. anyway, it was shot well, and Sheen is brilliant as usual.
the greatest Sci-Fi film since...well, perhaps Children of Men, though I almost don't categorize that one as sci-fi anymore. effects, action, that the aliens are actual characters, the acting - all golden.
Tarantino proves himself, after establishing a sense of doubt amongst his audience with Death Proof. Glad he did so. This film is almost only dialogue, and goddamn it's tense and exciting. WWII is a great setting for QT.
I Really liked this movie, and I'm still pondering it's subliminal effectiveness. it's obviously very strong. it's a very weird movie. but definitely very kubrick.
fucking Perfect. the little references, the music, editing, Jo levitt, deschanel's cuteness, the reveal of the truth, Everything = amazing. best film I've seen in months..
for samraimi fans, this is a fucking Awesome return to scary while fun(ny) film making. so much fun. if u still can, GO see it with an audience in a darkened room. also, I've added Alison Lohman to my list of future wives.
this is fucking great. kicks the shit out of it's sequels. watching the cast train is amazing. seeing these people await the release of te film they just made is...incredible.
i was afraid i wouldnt like it, only to be surprised that i already loved it twenty mintues into it. i want to see it again, stumpy is very funny. john wayne is good, his walk and head tilt is humerous. dean martin is the shit. the music is good. the story is pretty simple but very effective. like precinct 13. anyway it was very satisfying.
